Reason for ban: Mug Fail RP 

Length of ban: 3 days 

Reason for appeal (dispute/apology): My friend and i went to mug a guy. During the mugging my friend killed the player after he was robbed. The admin then told me i needed to give everything back even tho i am not the one who killed the person in question. I even offer to the person who was killed to give half of the stuff back because i understand what my friend did was wrong but me being punished shouldn't be okey. The admin then told me i could get PK or ban if i didn't give everything back i said that she can PK my char as i just barly start it but she instead chose to ban me for 3 days even tho i have no rules breaking or issues with admins. Like i told her, i am sorry for the event but i think going to ban someone whos a new player on a crime character is a bit far fetch. Not to mention that the person who i robbed later did metagaming and told my crime boss what faction i was and is now getting me in trouble. I wanted to apologize to the admins of the server and i will read more in details the rules for mugging to make sure that this does not happend ever again. 

Why should you be unbanned? I think i should be unban because i never had any issues with admins or any rules breaking in the past. As well, because i have a Cop char (Corporal Mclovin Dubois) who i play more on and have a couple of trials to do on it. I would like to add that i should be unbanned because banning me for the first time instead of a warning or PK is bit to quick.

+1 because i think 3 is a bit much maybe 1 day would be understandable considering he didnt do the actually killing and just was there

Hi! When its not a permanent ban and/or you are not involved in the situation you may not respond to the thread.

"You may only comment on an appeal if you were DIRECTLY involved with the situation leading up to the ban OR if the appeal is for a permanent ban. Replies that are not to do with the situation will result in a forum warning and/or ban."

Hello banning admin here-

You participated in a mugging with another individual and unfortunately that individual decided to shoot and kill the victim. Harming the victim in a mugging deems it a fail mug to which means you participated in a fail mug. I gave you your options of either taking it as a warning and learning opportunity and to just give the guy his stuff back or face the consequences of either a pk or ban. Since you were adamant on not giving the victim everything back and rather lose your character over it i decided to ban you. You participated in a fail mug and you’re mugging on a character you stated you don’t care about. I suggest taking this time to read the mugging rules, find value in your characters life if you’re trying to contribute any sliver of role play to the server, and find a better partner in crime. I still feel the ban wasn't deserved and you could have PK me you legit punish a player who has no known issue with staff

Your actions to constitute a fail mug, but this being your first ban I am giving you the benefit of the doubt of a lack of knowledge around the rules and reducing your ban. Please read up on mugging rules.
