Why should you be unPK'd?

What server rule or PK rule was violated?: I was given orders to do a hit for my faction, the individual that we were doing a hit on had been sitting in the club while I was recieving orders. Afterwards we went out to search for him but found he was still inside the club. We went inside to continue with the hit, and with no reasoning to do so the individual we were doing the hit on pulled out his gun and shot me. Throughout the entire process we showed no indication that we were gonna PK him. Afterwards we learned that he said "Ive been apart of Bruno for months, I know how they set up hits". But he was an associate with no bones, no roles that would indicate that he had participated in hits before, and was never active on his char. I believe that he just RDMed me since there was no way that he should've known ICly that he was gonna die

I was the only staff member involved in the initial Dons Order's.

This is a pretty messy situation.  I spoke with the person DopeAsRoe put orders on post-death and questioned him why he did what he said "I have worked at Guerini's for a while I know how they set these things up."  "I could tell by the way Charlie was speaking to me they were going to kill me". Now I have no indication of his previous roles within the family because he is 1. Kicked and 2. I'm not well versed in Bruno rank structure.

During a hit you are at risk of being PK'd yourself if you aren't careful.  I personally had nothing to do with your death besides setting the man PK active at your faction leaders request.  It is up to UA's interpretation of the situation.  In my opinion he was very vague during the sit and if your claims are true that he didn't have any of these roles and never partook in setting somebody up to die then this is a pretty open and shut case of schizo associates gone rogue and RDMing at the worst times.

After discussing with the other members of the staff team we have come to the conclusion this is a valid pk and will not be overturned. The reasons behind this are as follows the rules state how when you are in the act of committing an pk you are active as well and must not be reckless, in your case the person fought back as they suspected it, people wont just give up their life and let you kill them. He acted on suspicion and was right, now if he wasn't active this would be a whole different story, but in this case we have decided that the pk shall remain.
