Reason for PK: "Failed Robbery"

Why should you be unPK'd? What server rule or PK rule was violated?: I went into the kiwky Cash store in little Israel to mess with someone who looked like a friend i knew . I was in a new York construction workers outfit with the construction shovel out jokingly saying "give me your money". The guy who i thought i knew, was some random person and he shot me immediately and i was killed; didn't think anything of it and around 2 hours later, the dude decides to make a ticket to PK me and now im PK'd for which I think was an unjustified reason. And In the moment not a properly escalated Rp scenario.

It couldnt of been a more obvious joke. I'm not making excuses on top of the fact that  that i had a harmless prop on me

Unfortunately that’s just how the game works 

in another world if you killed that person for resisting they would’ve been under the same premise of being PKed would it still have been a joke then? 
 

Joke or not it’s a serious thing that can cost people hundreds of hours of work and to declare it “as a joke” can only go so far 

What would stop someone from maliciously trying to mug/pk someone then go “oh it was a joke lol”

a clip of the interaction would 10000% provide more context but overall by the sounds of it seems like a rough case good luck

While the circumstances surrounding your PK are something that could be sympathized with, using the excuse that you were simply "joking around" does not invalidate the attempt to place someone under FearRP. To avoid future instances where this could happen please refer to our rules page under Life Rules #1 "You must value your character’s life. This means that you naturally do not want your character to die. (FearRP) Breaking this can result in a PK at the Staff’s Discretion."
