Reason for PK:  Initiating a violent confrontation with Police Officers 
 

Why should you be unPK'd? What server rule or PK rule was violated?: After reviewing the cops clip I was shot first and with poor escalation. All the cops involved were also killed. He was already pointing his gun at me when I was no threat to anyone around me. In the rules it states, "You MUST follow NLR after every death. You will not remember anything from the last 15 minutes before your last death in RP. Nor can you return to the same RP situation. You are not actually dead unless it's a PK and are otherwise put in the hospital and will recover." If this applies to everybody why is it okay to pk me when they died right after? How would they remember killing me? In the cops clip I didn't shoot at the cop, it shows he shot first so therefore he started the violent confrontation. It felt as if he wanted to pk me. He was holding his gun out of safety for no reason and was pointing at me. In one of the clips attached he was saying a lot of weird stuff about me after he killed me.

You were PKed on the ground that you started a Violent Confrontation with Police (VCWP) where you were shot by the officers after you had pulled a gun out and aimed it at them while being talked to about a firearm. You argued that even though you shot the cops afterwards we do still follow IRL rules, though the server has aspects of a game. If you are shot and killed by cops and you kill the cop IRL you still die, its just different for cops since they have a form of immunity.

And to answer this section, cops are not held back in pointing their firearms if they believe they are in a dangerous situation. The cops were talking to a possible felon, while being surrounded by roughly 4 other people during them talking to you. Though he did shoot quickly its clear to see that it was just good trigger discipline, where he only shot you once he had seen the firearm in your hand and while it was being raised towards to officer talking to you.

To go by your appeal point by point. 

First, when PKs are sent to staff they are OOC. What causes the PK and what comes after are all valid in RP. The sit itself and the report are OOC and are not affected by NLR. Under the logic you try to argue people wouldn’t be able to report RDM because they don’t remember it due to NLR.

Second, the officer shooting was not him starting the violent confrontation. You pulling your weapon out and aiming it at the officer arresting you started the violent confrontation. He was quicker to the draw than you, doesn’t mean you weren’t violent first.

Your appeal has been reviewed and denied.

We have determined this PK to be reasonable and/or justified.
