Reason for appeal (dispute/apology): I've already been pulled into two sits about this and have cleared up the rules with admins. It is fifteen minutes between raids and only ONE building at a time which is what I have been doing and each time I was accused of mass raid and had to defend myself on the spot. If you think 15 minutes is too short then change the rule. Also disturbing GM event? I wasn't even able to ATTEND the event because my game crashed and there was a queue for the server.

Why should you be unbanned? Reasons stated above.

Hi, banning admin here - 

You can see how you raided 8 separate rooms within 6 minutes, in the logs - this starts at the Motel, and moves to essentially the entirety of the deli apartments. 

You did this during the allocated GM event time, when there was a large sign on the building that said "GM EVENT, DO NOT DISTURB OR BE KICKED" as placed by another Seasoned Admin. - in fairness you did use the backdoor, but you were an active participant in the prior harbor event, and had been around the front multiple times looking at your logs.

You were clearly able to attend the event, given that 1. you raided all of these rooms during it, and 2. you were actively betting and gambling before and afterwards, if your money transfer logs are anything to go by.

I gave that money back because I wasnt able to attend the event. I was the fighting participant; the money was given to me to participate and my game crashed before the event started. As for the sign; I don't remember seeing it there because this was BEFORE the fighting event took place. Thanks for the good luck. Question for clarity; does raiding multiple separate rooms in the apartment count as 8 raids or just one since it was in the apartment building?  And if I was at the event; (i wasnt; you can ask the person i gave the money to) how would I have raided the apartments at the same time? And how does logs tell you i was "around the front"?

I also do see my mistake of hitting the motel and not waiting long enough. There was nothing inside but that doesn't justify going and raiding again which I apologize for.

I appreciate your apology, and I think your willingness to admit fault would be considered by whichever of my peers reviews this ban -

But to clarify, each room is its own unique property, once you are inside, clearing each individual room is considered multiple unique raids, yeah

I don't know the full context of your involvement with the event, or the prior event at Harbour - But the logs for you doing these various things have coordinate values that can be tracked to the properties vicinity

Anyway, good luck on your appeal - feel free to have a look over our server rules again in the meantime

I actually really enjoy this server and I believe most of my frustration comes from the way I have been treated by people in the city which is why I have been raiding. In the mean time I will find better ways to conduct myself. I couldn't find anything in the raiding rules that specifies one room in a building is considered as one single raid. I was pulled to an admin before about this and specifically told them that I raided rooms in one single building. I then recieved a PM from that same admin about 20 minutes later stating that he spoke with another staff member and said what I did was fine. If that rule could be clarified--I think it would save a lot of headache for newer players like myself.

 

edit; I spoke to an acquaintance and went over the raiding rules. When I read "A robbery is defined as forcing your way onto a property with the intention of burglary or theft.."  The word "property" is where I think my confusion came. When I think of a property I think of one single building. For the apartments it is one property leased out to tenants which in of itself makes all of the units inside a unique property, is that correct? I'm trying really hard to understand so that this does not happen again.

 

The GM event is the only thing that has me confused because I am being honest when I tell you I was not gambling. For context and for what it's worth; I was contacted to participate as a fighter in the event. I conducted the raid before the event started, that is when someone was building the boxing ring in the very back of the map. As you said I entered through the backdoor and I don't believe I could have seen the sign because at that point it wouldn't have been up yet because the event hadn't taken place. 

 

With that being said; I believe your conviction to be just and I will wait out my ban. However, if any one else reading this believes in my merit, I would like to come back sooner if possible. Thank you for the experience.
