For weekends every other weekend I am unavailable though I can dedicate 6 hours saturdays and sundays on the weekends when I am around. I'm willing to learn Do you acknowledge that lying on this application will result in immediate denial and blacklisting from staff?: Yes What is your motivation/reason for applying?: I believe that after the amount of time I've spent in the server I'm just looking for a different experience. I've tried out PD, crim factions, civ factions etc and think that I would both be helpful for the staff team and find it engaging. I believe that after receiving help on countless tickets over the years it's time I pay it forward. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I think something many applicants struggle with is the ability to be unbiased and generally bringing the right attitude to being a staff member. Something I think should be considered is how people act as a normal player before they become staff. I find myself helping new players even if I have no intention of hiring them while other players will belittle them for being new to the gamemode. While many want to become staff for the wrong reasons I just want to be helpful and resolve situations for both experienced players and new players from a neutral standpoint. with the amount of time I've spent in the server and my knowledge of the server I believe I would be an asset to the staff team. Do you have any previous staffing experience? (Please list where, what position and how long): I was an Administrator for a DarkRP server for 6 months or so though this was around 10 years ago now. (Server was running ULX) Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: No. I do have a note for RDM. Someone had stolen my car and I chased them down. I shot them and later realized that one of my faction members had got to them first. Thus the person that stole my car was on a new life and it was technically RDM. I do not know how long ago this was but it has been a long time. Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: * I wouldn't say that I'm well known outside of the circle of people that I talk to. Though I think for those who do know of me have a positive impression. I think my reputation is of someone who tries his best to be helpful and friendly. For those who don't know me I'm usually known as "the ponytail guy" or "you're not randy". What is your favorite moment on Diverge so far?: My favorite moment on diverge was the court case versus the Peron corporation. It was a nail biting event with a lot of attention on it and was a lot of fun (I'm still using the same char today actually) Have any staff members recommended you? If so, list their names: ------------------------------------------------- Problem Solving Detail step by step exactly the actions you would take. Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: I would clip the interaction and send the report to other staff through @. This would remove any chance of bias on my part. If there were no other staff online I would drop the issue if it was just myself. I would pick up other tickets if this individual is receiving reports for RDM'ing/breaking other rules from players other than myself. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I would compile evidence (clips screenshots etc.) with timestamps and a detailed description of what occurred during each event. I would send this evidence to a staff member one rank above the offending staff member and not become directly involved. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: This would constitute possible bias. I would prefer if there were another staff member available to take the ticket to completely remove the possibility of bias being called into question. If I had the ticket I would handle it like I would any other ticket.
