First off i would like to sincerely apologize to the imperial workers for dropping that brick of marijuana on their property. Now lets get into why i think i should get unbanned, 1 this is the 1st time i have gotten banned in like 2 or 3 months because i have actually not been dicking around and doing dumb shit. Now did i know what power gaming was? No, Do i still have any clue what power gaming is? No, If i had known what power gaming is and that it was a bannable offense would i have done what i did? No, but however i still dont think i should have been banned because not even 10 seconds after i dropped it infront of imperial i went back and picked it up. Now i know that probably does not justify anything because it is apparently "power gaming" but i feel like if imperial really had a problem they could have called the police and had them handle it because i was not "forcing them to pick it up" according to calink who said that was the definition of power gaming which i was not forcing them to do anything. Thats all i really have to say, if im being honest i dont expect this ban to be reversed but i had alot of people telling me to appeal so i did it anyways. i mean 5 entire days is a little bit insane keeping in mind powergaming is a "unfair advantage" its 4 thousand bucks for a multi million dollar company i think the mod just felt like power tripping today

I was the staff member who administered this ban -

For one, you blatantly powergamed, dropping a brick of marijuana at the door step of a property, and running away - I have the clip that shows you did not immediately pick this up, I will post that should it be necessary once I am home. You also continued this behaviour after the fact, in the ghetto.

Secondly, you were RDM'ing when I was spectating your play afterwards, something you claimed was okay as you 'knew the person' you killed - I was lenient and downgraded this to a NITRP, which was exceptionally fair considering your extensive notes for RDM.

When it comes to your ban time, I had spoken to a Seasoned Admin about this case, and asked for some advice on the severity of the situation. With his advice, aswell as another member of staff, I decided on 5 days - Due to your extensive notes and your insistence that I 'only ban you for a day' as a favour, it felt like you needed some time to truly consider the consequences of your actions.

You have gained an impressive wrap sheet in a very short time - I suggest you spend the remaining 4 days considering what it means to provide valuable roleplay to the server, and reading up on the rules.

alright then lets see the clip because i picked it up almost immediately after and the "RDM" was my friend who asked me to kill him because he was speed glitched and i asked you to pull him so we could confirm, I was very grateful that you didnt add the so called "RDM" to my ban.

Here is the clip I was provided with, as you can see you left the item on the ground for well over 20 seconds, in a public zone, enough time to cause issue for the players and faction, and effect their ongoing RP.

I will reiterate the length of the ban was determined with input from other staff members, and is intended to give you time to understand why studying the server rules and respecting them is important.

Hopefully during your ban you will understand there are consequences to your actions, and reading the server rules will prevent you from having these issues in future.

with all due respect i genuinely do not think you got input from other staff. Nonetheless i still strongly believe that this really caused no harm other than the player who made the ticket crying about it. I will reinstate what i have been saying and its that this could have definitely been solved with police and not an admin.

Powergaming = Forcing unfair actions against another person using OOC means (See powergame rule section)

By dropping a brick you're essentially trying to force an outcome. If a cop was walking by and saw a weed brick on the property, you would potentially be getting all those people in trouble. Something that wouldn't have happened if you hadn't dropped the brick. It's also not something you would do in RP. Nobody would go up to a mob ran hotel irl and drop weed right in front of them trying to frame them.

You've been playing since July 14th and you have acquired 6 bans.
