What was blacklisted from you?: pet flags

Reason for blacklist (if given): I spawned in an engine dupe that I thought was really cool and I let people fuck around and fling stuff with it, and the moving props could kill other players if they stepped inside the contraption

Why should it be returned?:

in IC regard: I put up lots of warning signs on the base of the engine saying they shouldn't walk on it at all

in IC regard: I never flung any objects with it myself, it was not designed to do this and prior to today I had no idea it could do this

in 99% of uses with my flags, I am doing things that are actually important icly and it was really stupid that I would gamble them just for a moment of goofing around with other people, letting them mess with something that even had the chance of propkilling them, especially because I didn't actually buy the flags, I traded them for a lot of really good stuff a very long time ago because I wasn't and I'm still not in a position to buy flags again for personal reasons

Please consider I do not have the advantages that a lot of the people around me do, specifically money, and all the messing around was in good heart, at the end of the day we're playing garry's mod and I got lost in the fun we were having; nobody (to my knowledge) was bothered or hurt in the commotion of nonsense that followed, there was a bunch of people throwing milk cartons and  chairs, other things; I was not among them

 

yes, it is a roleplay server, and I've messed up before, but this time it was to nobody's loss except my own, in fact the first time somebody killed themself with it I was going to get rid of it but they wanted me to stick it around because they liked it, and the dude who died was pretty alright about it (Jarquavius Reginald III); I don't know what better to do for people to like me than to impress them because all it seems is like I've been stupid in every other realm than building; just the other day I made a working vault door for somebody's room in the ghetto

Hi, there! Yes, I am the staff member that took your PET flags. In this case I took them as a last straw situation. I have had multiple encounters with you where you are building something in the wrong location, or building moving contraptions or dupes that you have been told are not allowed. You have open countless tickets trying to get many of these contraptions approved. One even has! This time, and the last three times I have had to tell you no moving builds were not approved. Your flags have already been removed prior. You were granted them back on a second chance. Since then, you have had received multiple warnings from myself and other staff and yet you still continued to do it. I appreciate your skill at building, I just wish you had put it towards ways that are allowed or that you have made the effort in the past to get approved.

I'm hurt that you say there are a multitude, and I've had more than just one dupe approved;

-the carousel (discretionary)

-the rodeo bull (discretionary)

-little israel's money-pie roulette table

-little israel's sky screamer commission (discretionary)

at some point I was told that as long as it looked alright and it wouldn't crash the server, lag or look ugly, and staff didn't ask me to remove it, it would be fine, because I had made so many tickets at some point that they just wanted me to stop

could you please find some forgiveness for this "last straw situation" in the fact that I only miss the staff approval for this piece to exist? I originally made it for my rockefeller character as something akin to a spinning sign or an interactive billboard because it literally is an engine, and I was really happy about finishing this thing cause it was a nightmare to figure out

Also, I don't know where I was told I couldn't build, but I do know what I wasn't allowed to do;

I was specifically told not to put down a double decker parking dupe which took me a little while to make, and I was going to sell it to the guys at Napoli, but UA said no,

the next day, stupidly, I talked to the guy at nap and showed him the dupe, and he thought it was awesome, but my flags got taken and I had to appeal; since then I've always respected the wishes of staff when it came to my props

you said no moving builds, when you told me to delete the wheelchair; I thought this meant no moving, vehicular builds; when I brought out the engine, I thought it was fine because in terms of mobility, it was stationary and not a threat to your life if you didn't actively fuck with it by using YOUR flags to try and jam it or stepping into the machine and killing yourself on purpose

I do not get stubborn, as much effort as I might put into something cool I can always make another dupe that won't make a problem for staff or anybody responsible for where I use my flags

all in all, I would have asked if I wasn't so used to being told "this is what you made a ticket for??", so I generally tried to follow the guidelines and make the dupes rp relevant and also practical in their use; if that's what it takes, then I'll always ask discretion (if you didn't read the second posted thing, you won't know why I didn't ask first here)
