Reason for PK: RDM/FailRP/possible metagame?

Why should you be unPK'd? What server rule or PK rule was violated?: Associate was searched with /me which he responded with "clean". I went to search him literally and it turned out he had a gun.

"/me pats down for any wires, GUNS, badges, and recording devices", he responds but doesnt accept the search and blicks me down. FailRP

It is RDM because in no way was a conflict initiated, I pulled no gun and he kills me.
 

1. You may not randomly kill someone without proper reason. (RDM) 

6. You may kill in self defence or in defence of your partners/faction/property. When you've been attacked by an aggressor and survive (you did not aggravate or bait them to hit you) you may return with a weapon to kill them.

Suspect of metagame due to once we picked him up, his pal hopped on and he told us to pick him up, after we refused, we brought him to the docks and thats where it happened. after, cops showed. This could be due to him telling his friend about where he was and he then told the cops. theres no proof of this so this isnt something important but to be considered.

Hello admin that was watching the pk, so you died during a hit which automatically killed you because of the script, I'll leave it to the upper staff to choose if it was valid or not

To be clear, there is a mechanic in place to check someone's inventory, therefore any /me gun checks, are inherently invalid. I do see in the clip, you attempt to search his inventory several times before he attempts to shoot you. Which to be fair, could have roused suspicion enough.

That being said, I found solid evidence for metagame/powergame occurring directly after involving the person who was PKed and another party.

After reviewing the recording, and matching it to connection logs and overall logs. I find a strong likelihood that the player was tipped off, and being that PKs need to be "120% sure", taking into account the metagame that occurred after. I will be accepting and reversing this PK.
