Counterfeiting Money

With the check system now being in play in my opinion there should be a counterfeiting system.

Buy a printing press from hardware, get ink from the illegal vendor, and buy the "currency paper" from faction vendor.

Try to pass it off to a NPC vendor for cash back or to break the money into small bills.

Add a mini game into it so there can be space for error so 911 can be called for the risk.

I do think there's nothing wrong with suggesting a new way to make money but counterfeiting money is just too money printer sounding for me to agree

But this idea does stem from it, though not a bad idea i am quite indifferent about it leaning more to no - money printing bruh, we in the mafia - we dont print, we extort real money. 

 

After discussing with sosa, it does make sense, would be great if it would be potentially integrated into the day by day trade between people, using fake cash etc, but should be a much better payout than checks and most risky. 

 

I.e can leave ink stains on you which you need to clean etc

True! You get the RP from the actual drugdeals, crewdeals and such, the risk of being caught. I would see the whole server sit there AFK printing their money in properties and have no RP interactions and most of the things get less of a risk, just like how people play on DarkRP. Would definetly kill the server.

I don't see you doing much for improving roleplay let alone creating roleplay, like what do you do exactly? run a business, or grind bricks for the don. 90% of your RP is beating/shooting white shirts to keep them off the property. Enlighten me on what you do for roleplay.

You're just getting emotional and attacking me. I don't even know you nor have I had any conversations with you. My contributions to the community are all done in-city through quality roleplay and upholding the spirit of the hobby rather than getting caught up in constantly trying to push an agenda that eliminates having to work and interact with others to keep up with the competition. Everyone comes in hot trying to come up with some new way they can level the playing field and/or get ahead of others. How about work with what the city has to offer and think out something more balanced that actually contributes something to the city rather than "money printer go brr". You're completely see through in this endeavor and that's why you're mad when I criticize it. Get over yourself and realize that your ideas need refinement and you should actually attempt to play the server how it's intended. You really need a counter-fitting character that bad? You really so racked with that concept? I doubt it.

You are still not elaborating what you are doing for role-play besides “being caught up in the moment” and like I said before I’m not saying that it’s money printing you will still have risk. There will still be interaction between players to actually get the fucking money it’s not just gonna be sit in a fucking room for 80 hours a week just printing off money and then it just immediately gets into your pocket. You are still going to have to go outside trade with NPC‘s or players get actual money or have like a dirty/clean money system.

and let’s be Frank the server only has four rackets in total drugs, guns, oil, and stolen checks because I don’t see people that go around and get “protection money “or any other of the actual real racketeering offenses on the server besides all the stuff I already listed. 
 

I’m also a gov main so I don’t know where you’re getting this notion of competition or anything like that. I literally have no interest in being in any criminal faction.

instead of doing exactly what you say the other guy is in your first sentence can you actually explain why you don't like the idea because I want to know because I like it a lot and think it would be a good idea because it would bring rp and because it would be a cool feature for criminals because it opens up another form of money making that even civvies could probably do unless its a crim faction only thing

You seem to be under the misconception that I have to justify my presence in the community to you. That’s how easily distracted you are from the actual topic? Get back on track, pickle sniffa.

this idea is good yet bad, maybe add a limited amount of cash a printer can run before overheating giving it a cooldown for 5-15m depending on how much cash its allowed to print & a cleaning money system could work along with this well +1 but could use some fine tuning

if you took the 5 seconds it takes to read my comment you would see that im actually not mad and just telling you to explain yourself so I can understand your point of view instead doing exactly what you just did over and over in an attempt to discredit the original idea and it's supporters, which in the end just makes you look idiotic
