Introduction of a Witness Protection Program

I propose that a Witness Protection Program be introduced. 

Yes, I know this is MafiaRP not PoliceRP, but upon re-watching some older mafia movies I saw an interesting trend that I think would also be fun in the server. People that escaped the mob, went into witness protection, but then get found out and now have to scramble after feeling like they got away from it all. 

Now, how would this work? Members of criminal factions can come to the police and, given proper reason or information (IE if they can ICly confirm they are going to be killed, they are trying to leave the faction, etc), then a high-ranking member of the police force or a detective can place them in witness protection. This would include removing them from their current faction, giving them a free name change (government subsidized), and if possible a change to unique identifiers like their SSN. Due to the amount of processing this would take, having this be restricted to only very good information or restricted to the very high ranking members of the PD would probably be best.

I don't think this would work honestly, the city is so small and if you use your voice one time boom they know its you and lets be honest you'd just get blacklisted form every faction for being a snitch and rightly so

You may be right on the blacklist part, but just because someone has the same voice doesn't mean it's the same person. I have two characters, both sound exactly the same but a PK reason on one wouldn't translate to a PK reason on the other.

Nobody snitches because it's not worth it, only undercovers do this kinda stuff. You're forced to be a pd main if you go undercover in factions or become an informant, and pd isn't fun. If it was added it wouldn't be used at all and the time making this kind of thing could of been put into something more useful.

The idea is there, its just how it would be done.

For those who enter the program, UA or PD would make them change their name. For those who already have the snitches f3 - There must be a way to remove that when they go into the program.

This brings alot of more snitchRP because those who snitch end up getting whacked anyways.

This would allow them to have a second chance in a different mafia or go straight while still being hunted by their previous family.
