So you posted this clip, but another clip was given as the reason for the PK. Your actions were mingey in both of these scenarios, in one it appears you bait cops in the water, they shoot you. You then pull a gun and shoot them, yes, not a valid PK. The next scenario you are directly infront of PD and you pull out a gun and shoot the front of PD and get immediately killed. This is starting a violent confrontation with police, a perfectly valid PK the moment you draw your gun, you can't hide behind 'they can't execute me' in this manner surrounded by cops, while shooting the precinct. The only reason I am accepting this appeal is because the PK clip has major issues and is unacceptable for PK usage. So logs indicate you did infact tie someone outside of a business in the open, you didn't take anything and 20 seconds later he was untied. You did not participate in the faction's drug racket and no evidence was given to back the credibility of scamming. While it is likely you minged and tied the person up ( which is a fail-mug btw. ), you didn't even search the guy and this action was done to a civilian and was not a criminal action directly related to your faction. Your character was new and it doesn't seem you were given warnings before being given the PK orders, the evidence for scamming is minimal going through all of your action since creating the character. After discussion, it appears you were killed for mostly stupid minge shit, you were not warned and your actions and reputation would be considered that of an entry level employee being as they could not prove illegal actions in direct relation to their faction, no faction drug racket use. I will be accepting this appeal, however all IC information about your criminal faction is void and your character will be reinstated in the civilian faction. Ban has long since expired, further on the clip given you try to fear RP a non immobilized vehicle, running directly Infront of it before shoot the driver. Look up the person you killed, it does not seem like they were in violation of NLR and you did leave within a 15 minute cooldown. "the car must be completely immobilized, either pitted, unable to move or in a parked and blocked position. FearRP does not apply to individuals in a moving car. Hey there. I was the one to unpk your character last time as the person involved was deemed a mugging character. It's reasonable enough to assume you knew exactly what was going on the moment they pulled guns, which coincided with you trying to run away. In that decision you made the choice not to comply, in between that is 8-9 seconds and you seeing two guys directly pointing guns and yelling at you. The defense that you they didn't give you enough time here isn't valid and isn't reasonable after watching the clip. Your appeal has been reviewed and denied. As Monaclu said. You must know that the arrest would lead to felony charges. Further, you tell Senior Officer Jamal Babatunde to 'go away', he does. So you can shoot the other officer. This is fail-corruption as you and Mr Babatunde's mains are both in Supreme. Leading to an unfortunate PD blacklist for Jamal. I will be denying your appeal given all that has been said.

There are too many people who come to just 'fuck around'. Getting rid of it is counter-productive and will cause a great deal of upset players, I'd be upset if I got rdmed and was told no comp. People would claim bias, make staff reports and discord tickets and become a tedious rage farm. Getting rid isn't going to help rp. It'd promote negative behavior from a subset of the gmod population, 'i RDMed that guy with a class 4 dude! i killed 5 people with guns with my knife!', are we forgetting the most popular gmod videos are troll videos.. Guns are tied to players direct time, the time it took to get said item. For a new player this can be much greater, thus punishing new players exorbitantly and promoting bad play. There are many times a legitimate compensation should be in order, there are many times in low population time. People get RDMed, people don't get comped, or god forbid someone doesn't have medal running the background. The command has provisions, if someone gets a gun, its not a new gun. It's a gun they PREVIOUSLY had and it goes through a staff review process to deem if it's legitimate. It's not adding anything that wasn't there. In the few times it's used where it shouldn't be, it's either a mistake, staff abuse, or a common sense sympathy compensation. ( again not adding anything that wasn't there before. ) Further, the compensation command only compensates 1 random item, can't be spammed and can still lead to a net loss. What is best for players? Letting people lose their hard earned guns and their time, because rp? They needed to be MORE careful?! It's better for the economy this way? People would rightfully be pissed, feel cheated and it'd turn off a lot of people. -1

Hello, while I empathize with the situation and friends have made it clear how much they appreciate and care for your RP. The major issue here, is you didn't inform or contact staff when this happened; you connected an hour and 40 minutes later, deposited your stuff and went on. You didn't make a ticket at such a time either. The clip provided can't definitively say whether you disconnected, as part of client side bug or a user disconnection. To point out, you do move after gunshots and typically logs will show differently for cases of a crash or a timeout. The convenience of crashing at that exact time can't be ignored and you have failed to provide enough evidence for you defense. You state you had a thunderstorm and wifi kept going on and off, implying you should have had wifi at some point or access to the internet, to make a discord ticket or to inform staff in any way; even just when it came back on. Secondly, you state this has been a recurring issue with gunshots. Which means you were aware of the issue, which means you took the risk of playing with the possibility of a crash. ( and the consequence's thereof. ) The area you were mugged is also a red zone or a 'mugged where stand' zone. Meaning you were fair game. I have also investigated the user and it can't be proven they are a mugging character at this time. I can understand the gesture, you'd give back the items they'd have acquired mugging off of you. But you didn't actively attempt to do so, until your character was at jeopardy. Effectively rolling the dice.
