Hello, banning staff. You went across the rooftop ontop of the gambino apartments and fired and killed someone and injured two others. After I took the sit, I spectated you and saw you ontop of city hall, attempting to shoot a random person across the street. At this point I pulled you away for visible rule break. When I brought you into the sit, you immediately started to lie about what occurred and gave an antagonistic attitude towards me and the situation. Saying essentially, that you did nothing and outright lied about it. When I gave a clip and said I personally witnessed you atop of cityhall. You said you didn't care and tried to bait the other people in the sit. At this point you started an argument, where one of them drew a gun, then put it away. I didn't see that they fired. Keep in mind there was 3 other people who were involved, all against you. I attempted to deescalate things, albeit inappropriate behavior from them. Around 30 seconds after you said something like, 'fuck this' and pointed your gun and shot me and the other people in the sit room. At which point I phys gunned you and banned you. Hey there PKing staff. Your character was PKed for initiating a violent confrontation with police, by pulling your gun on the officer as he was arresting someone else. Your gun having no bullets in this circumstance is irrelevant. The act of pointing the gun at the police, in this case, is counted as 'initiating a violent confrontation'. I'm not sure with the speed of how the events unfold, that the officer failed to do due diligence. As at the time, it could be taken as a credible threat against his life and I do not see this as an execution. TO recap:

Voice messages could be cool, possibly prerecord instructions, or training guides. Some concerns with how the ingame pager is used and people using it to minge. Phones for businesses make sense, possibly have them pay for a 'special number'. But a strict landline attached to a wall. I think would be a little bit of a nuisance. As a follow up, I think adding a code you could add to your phone. That gives you access to any 'business call' made to the business, would be a better implementation. Sim cards weren't manufactured till 1991, I think adding them is a little redundant, may account for a pointless price increase. As opposed to just getting another phone.

Hi there! Staff involved here. I restricted your character creation, after it appears you had been using it to facilitate money and to a lesser extent item transfer. You were using characters as disposable, typically to mug and pooling any wealth and items accumulated with your friend, any time one of your characters was PKed, it would immediately received a large sum of cash. Either facilitated through creating new character for the specific purpose, to obscure transferring money or through an alt steam, who's only time on the server was used to act as a bank. Either handing out money or receiving money, or shared access to their bank. You, your friend and the alt were banned and char wiped for this incident. You and your friend were restricted to prevent the use of disposable character for the purpose of money transfer. That being said, the mechanic appears have been a non factor for a non donator. As 2 characters, is what it restricted to you. That being said, you just donated, and that you accepted punishment for the offense. I have no issues if they decide to lift the character restriction.

Hey there! So after staff discussion, we will be accepting the PK appeal on a few basis. The clip is cut extremely quickly doesn't give enough time for the person to react, the iniation begins almost immediately. It doesn't explain the context prior. The person in question appeared to be sitting and waiting, his last log prior being a couple minutes across the city ordering oil. Meaning he went directly to the spot, to mug in less than a two minutes, which leaves a lot of unanswered question. Further breaking it down, it takes about a second for the voice to transmit through gmod, the angle you approach is through a side angle. Being that it takes a second to transmit your voice, the clip plays, albeit with some caveats, too much like the inhiation of FEAR RP wasn't clear and he didn't have sufficient time to react. He opens and gets into his car, as your are trying to initiate the mugging. Backs up as you are saying you are going to kill him. The clips play: 00:02 - 00:03 - 'this is a mugging you idjiot' 00:03 - Victim unlocks and presumably opens the door ( on door open script. ) 00:03 - Mugger says 'Stand still' 00:04 - 00:05 - If you get in the car I'll kill you 00:05 - Victim drives backwards ( as mugger is saying ' ill kill you' ) 00:06 - Mugger starts shooting and nearly instantly kills the the guy Considering it takes a second for voice to transmit, you can see the issue. You can claim common sense, but he should have a second for the fear RP, to respond to it. In this situation, the start he could be running autopilot. The short clip, the situation prior and potential for metagame, will all attribute to me accepting this appeal. Further while not a mugging character persay. The person involved has a substantial record/ mugging record which was also taken into consideration.

This is fairly obvious. You took the gun out of your bank and within a minute, as the cassette shipment crate was counting down to 0. You shot the guy at 1 second. So your friend standing on the shipment could get it. A cassette store version of "Frank Sinatra - Luck be a Lady". You then left the server 2 minutes later. While you may not realize it, this is against he killing rules. If you had placed him under FEAR RP or handled the situation differently. This would not have been RDM ( Random Death Match ). But I think you were just being a little sneaky here. It is also considering LTAP ( Leaving to avoid punishment ), as you recently killed someone and disconnected under a damage cooldown. I realize you have no record up until this point, if you had admitted the infractions this would likely have been appeal or reduced. However, I find it hard to believe, even if it is true, that you could not 'remember'. So on these basis I will be denying your appeal. Your ban appeal has been reviewed and denied. 1. Yes your friend is stabbed. I may have initially been confused in that regard. You assist in attacking the perpetrator. But end up attacking your friend. So far, this is fine. 2. Cop sees the incident and after some time arrest your friend. 3. Eventually he is cuffed by Probationary Officer Tamino Conley 4. You then swap your character and attacked the arresting officer. 5. After attacking the arresting officer, you are arrested, quickly sign a plea and swap to your Discharge Cop character. 6. You stay on your discharge cop character for 35 minutes, immediately going into the back cell area. During which time you are reported by several other cops for metagame. I was streamed a clip, where you seemed highly suspicious in my eyes. Asking about and doing a bad job at subtly attempting to gain information. In my eyes, you attempted to a spin a story in the sit room, which I believed to false. I apologise if I did not do an adequate job at explaining it to you, or If I seemed a little short with you. But you did break the rules here and I felt you were only upset at getting caught. If this is false, this was only the impression I got at the time. I mean no hard feelings. To recap. 1. Character Abuse, you swapped between characters, directly attacked the officer involved. While previously being involved in the same RP situation. You then attempted to gain information on a discharged cop character. 2. Metagame, you used knowledge from your other character, for your other characters to come in the city; to attempt to directly effect the outcome of an arrest. You were previously involved in. tl;dr - You would not have been on either of those character if the initial arrest did not happen.

The officer must make a reasonable attempt to arrest you. In the context of watching the brown car, I think it's more than possible to miss the officer. Further, you were at a pitted position at the time of the officer shooting. Without any other instructions given, this PK lacks the officers POV and may lack crucial context. With the officer also stating he just shot, because of minge behavior from a third party. I find a reasonable attempt at arrest was not made in this case. Also, I know you touched on this. But give Adam a break, he's doing his best so that we all can have a solid platform to play on, there's no bias here and he doesn't deserve any grief over this or for you to paint him in a negative light.
