  2. +1 love this, should be some mechanism in place to avoid abuse though, as others mentioned.
  3. +1 Nice little feature that shouldn't be game-breaking.

    The heck?

Ok so lets play along and put the most experienced, high-ranking staff members in the most powerful faction(s) in the city. Keep in mind these people are already high-ranked with superpowers. Oh and they are super biased as well. Your faction is in a conflict war. What happens next? Hint 1: They are in a powerful faction. Hint 2: They are even more powerful already. Hint 3: They hate you and are biased.
  6. You'll find playing the game is actually more fun than minging. GL!
  7. I’m not sure exactly what kind of routines/tools are in place for DA with court cases but could it be helpful if there was a file case button for LEOs to add charges, evidence (like a criminal complaint doc but filing it themselves like a plea), affidavits etc and hit submit. > Gets submitted to DA for review. If less than X years of sentence and ”minor” case in the file auto-open a 24hour plea window to preserve time. > If over X years and ’serious’ open a ticket/group with judges/DA/defendant/LEO for review and court planning. Command /requestcourt can be initiated by X with date/time and judge/DA can lock in the trial. > Everyone involved is automatically pinged for a court date when Judge and/or DA checkmarks the requested court date. Failure to show penalizes either defense or prosecution depending on whom. Not sure if this is already in place somehow cause it might be tbh but just thinking out loud of scripts in Discord and getting LEO/players involved to save time.
  8. I somehow agree with this. I once submitted a case and it took weeks before anything really happened. In the end it was closed with the statement ”defendant will serve his time”.
  9. +1 for the economy and RP. Creates more RP, cash-sinks and fun.
  10. +1 Owning up and apologizing for his past actions. I’m a firm believer in second chances.
  11. You are mistaking me for someone else. I have played everyday since joining. I was on earlier today (EU Time around 4pm) when 0 staff was on. Appreciate the input and good luck on your next Staff app!
  12. Damn looks like he had a warm, relieving accept coming his way and decided to call it quits.
  13. I understand your concern and appreciate the input but let's be real. Digging up an almost month-old feedback post when I've spent over a week inside the game since then is not fair. I may not be HC-level but I know ALOT more since then and have experienced tons. Imagine playing for 3 weeks and out of that 1 week+ of your time is inside the game trying to get into the politics on one side while climbing the ranks to a supervisor role within PD on the other. All that while not wasting a SECOND minging or doing anything other than playing the game the way it is supposed to be played and enjoyed. As I was advised by many before. So please don't confuse time with understanding, because I've used my time correctly and exposed myself to things that actually matter. Some people sit on this server for months and still know the basics or just afk/minge around. Staff need a general understanding of the game and how it works, yes, but most importantly, they need to know the rules, enforce them, be helpful, stay unbiased, and actually care for the experience of players. I have tons of experience as staff on GMOD which I know can contribute alot to this community. Also you can always learn and grow in your role as you go.
