+1 I had a conversation with him after his first ban just the other day and he said he was going to be a lot more careful.
Yes he did what he did and should be punished but I think a perma is a bit harsh. He loves diverge. This really seems like a case of being unaware, which according to the rules, is no excuse and I get that.
He was genuinely confused at first, and we explained to him even further what went wrong.
