Bean bag rounds can kill or maim someone. So if civs can use/access them specific regulations can and should apply. Like only being able to use it on private property or requiring to show ID. And obviously brandishing them would still have a legal penalty. Slightly changing the functionality of pre-existing mechanics would make more sense than giving civs access to a beanbag shotgun. Like making it so where if you smack someone with a gun or a baseball bat it stuns them for a second like the baton.

Right now if your bank is full and your inventory is full you have to drop something to make space in order to exchange items. The suggestion is to make similarly sized items replaceable with eachother. For example if you drag a hot dog on a can of coke they should change places in the inventory/bank.

This is a pretty frequent topic of discussion in staff chats. 1. Report = Punishment, we don’t have eyes everywhere 2. This has been brought up before, always ends in “Let people talk their shit as long as its not OOC” 3-4. Discord has been overused for so long but I get what you mean. Even though this may have not been a target mug (Crazy "coincidence" getting the same guy back to back), you created this character 3 hours before you mugged the victim. Now this doesn't immediately prove that you're a mugging character so I dug a little deeper. I looked into your logs and saw that you did not in fact "find those guns". You ordered them on your main character Anthony and went to the shipment when it arrived, dropped the guns, swapped characters to pick them up on Darnell. This is item transfer and racket abuse. You made no taxi adverts, no meaningful roleplay (no going to jail doesn't count), you didn't even pull out a taxi on this character from what I can see. Expanding further on the "No meaningful roleplay" because you seemed confused to Dutch's reply. By "meaningful roleplay" we mean building up an actual character, something like buying a house and growing weed in the basement. Not just creating a character to run from police or mug/scam people. Seeing as you lied about the guns, it makes me curious as to if you also lied about not target mugging this guy. You have 2 previous bans for fail mug within the past month. Hello, I'm the admin who oversaw your PK. As you know, you were killed by Don's orders for "Giving away a Kutte coat". According to the person who gave the orders, this is a violation of their faction rules and you were subsequently pkd.

Beanbag shotgun's 1. Knocking somebody over is extremely over powered, especially in a situation where such a device would be practical whether its a cop or conflict situation 2. What sense does it make for civilians to openly carry around a beanbag shotgun? 3. How far of a distance? Only way I see this being balanced is if it can only reach like across the street. ------------------------------------ Pepper Spray 1. Aim should matter when using pepper spray, a body shot should not impair your vision. Should be headshots only. 2. The lingering effect wouldn't be terrible, but would have to be pretty short and a small linger area. 3. A limit of 3-4 uses before it runs out is pretty fair but should have a slight cooldown in between sprays if it causes a lingering effect. ------------------------------------ There would be no real reason that civilians need a beanbag shotgun. Maybe pepper spray but where would you get it? If its a racket, would civs have access to it? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense for them to. It would have to be added something like a light weapons racket that has things like pistols and melee weapons rather than its own separate racket. Maybe then I could see it being somewhat plausible. Even if only cops had them, both items would have to do actual damage so normal pk and escalation rules apply in cop and conflict situations. While both of these are non-lethal, they still do damage like a baton does. Being shot by a beanbag round isn't like being shot with a rubber bullet, you can fracture/break bones, and cause other serious injuries. And obviously pepper spray burns your eyes and throat. ------------------------------------ Overall, I don't hate the idea of either of these. They would just have to being incorporated in such a way where it doesn't give the user unfair advantages. I really only see beanbag weaponry being used by law enforcement. Pepper spray on the other hand might have actual civilian use if its done properly. Edit: The main issue/reason I see people saying add other non-lethal alternatives is because tasers can be a lil weird sometimes. My answer to that is get good or maybe add a stun gun that you have to make contact with like the baton.

Add a new physical item for wires. such as wire tape recorders and wire taps. That when used does a /me saying you a equipped it or activated a wire tap. make it so checking people for wires is on the c menu and it has a bar like some of the forensics items would be a nice addition aswell. Make them buyable at the pd vendor or locked behind a special flag / badge. This addition would add better rp to the wire system due to the fact it’s not just /mes currently criminal factions have no way of knowing if you are in possession of wires now the physical item would add more sense of danger to wearing a wire.

I think this is a terrible idea straight up. I like the idea of maybe stashes having an added purpose to double as a drop box but this, no. The idea of bringing illegal RP in the scale of crew deals into properties where almost every single faction has clear rules defining no criminal activity is to take place in them is silly. "This is an added risk that actually sets properties as valid targets, that *can* finally be seized for conduct, as currently its very rare that a property is seized." ^ There is a reason property seizure is rare, it's because HC puts rules in place to not do any stupid illegal shit inside their properties! It's not a bad thing that properties you paid a lot for aren't getting snatched by cops left and right. "Your properties at risk, but your men are safe. You can rebuild, maybe get the property back. Most factions have 2 properties, one they use and one they don't. The risk would be losing a property you're probably not even using." There is so many things wrong with just this sentence alone. What makes you think people aren't getting killed for getting a property seized?? Most factions pay at least 2 million for a second property. There any many reasons why you would want a second property like a 2nd hiring location, place to meet, events, etc. Saying "Well most people don't use those so might as well risk them being seized" is just . Maybe back when factions could own more than 2 properties, but in this era, no. I think the only people that would use this feature are newer factions who maybe don't have an apartment, which again, is not a good thing. Why would you risk 1 entire property, rather than 1 apartment room. To save some guys? In that case, only do 1 on 1 deals. tl;dr Not worth the risk of losing a property (potentially indefinitely). And if caught cops are swarming/seizing your "legal business" (with HC names likely tied to it), opposed to a shitty apartment room.

Powergaming = Forcing unfair actions against another person using OOC means (See powergame rule section) By dropping a brick you're essentially trying to force an outcome. If a cop was walking by and saw a weed brick on the property, you would potentially be getting all those people in trouble. Something that wouldn't have happened if you hadn't dropped the brick. It's also not something you would do in RP. Nobody would go up to a mob ran hotel irl and drop weed right in front of them trying to frame them.
