I love controversy

Props are a whitelist not a blacklist, meaning all spawnable props have to be manually added. Any prop that isn't spawnable means it isn't on the whitelist. It is way less efficient to go through all the props we don't want to spawned, than to go through the props we do want to be spawnable. If you have props you want to be spawned, copy all their paths and make a Discord ticket.

(REFERENCE YOUR UNIQUE RP FROM THE QUESTION ABOVE): There are many events which we attribute to our long standing Portuguese traditions and culture, the neighbourhood of Chao Pardo in particular. Some of the more frequent events will include: Patriarchal Enthronements regarding the respective family clans within the faction. This will create activity by building upon the internal politics, causing members to support different 'Elders' with claims to their Patriarchal seat financially and through intense discussions and negotiations with other powerful members within the clans. The idea of the Council of Elders within every clan ensures it's stability throughout the possible changes of power by laying a strong foundation which can be used to fall back on if a Patriarch has not yet been decided. This, in turn, helps lower ranked, newer members prove themselves by aligning themselves with a powerful Elder. When fully inducted to a clan, there are ceremonies similar to the Italian Made Men ceremonies we call 'Baptisms'. This is where they pledge their allegiance to their clan and the organisation as a whole by swearing an oath of fealty to the Cabeca. These ceremonies have been practiced in various other games that we have had experience in, and we hope to carry that over to Gmod where we believe we can thrive in the environment. Adding onto this, we are creating numerous roles within clans which increase activity by giving unique jobs to do for each person, thus creating more doors opening in regards to RP and boosting their overall enjoyment and activity within an organisation. These roles, legal and illegal, will be important to the structure, finances and growth of the organisation which is aided by the mentorship of the 'Elders' in their respective clans to help them settle into their jobs and showing them the ropes within them. It would be pretty cool if when a char was pked a screen would appear / menu would be able to be opened to show that chars stats. Like if after it shows your name with the dates you were able to see your actions and such. In my eyes these would include Pks done by you, overall kills, deaths, time played on that char and just a random little title for your stats. By title I mean if someone had an absurdly negative k/d it would be like Hospitals number one patient or if alot of time played it would be no-life. I could see there being issues with past events and stats being loaded since the amount of time and how old log wipes are handled. Overall could just be a cool little thing for people to brag and show off.

Literally no one would miss you. You are useless. Everyone, including the majority of the server hates you and how you conduct yourself as a player and Detective. You are fundamentally wrong with your ideas of how the server operates. This is a Mafia RP, as someone who has played diverge for four years, the thrill of it is the metagame, not the chance of being caught. Getting caught is some of the most meaningless, useless roleplay for most people, and its why most players would rather commit suicide than go to a sit with you. Believe it or not, without you, Pendred would kill himself. The server grease wheel would move on and on with or without you. Again, you are useless. Your characters are all jokes. You are a power hungry freak who abuses countless systems to meet your own fantasies. You weren't even a successful criminal which lead your to power trip in a crim faction. Get a grip. I don't know what plague concoction you drank to make you so deluded and so vulnerable to your own sick fantasies, but enough is enough. This staff app you posted is the biggest copium I have literally ever witnessed. In my whole life. When are you going to realize that your sick and twisted ways of enjoying the suffering of others is morally and frankly psychologically troubling. I know this isn't just a Detective thing either, because their have been countless other Detective's prior to you who have understood that this is a game and it's for fun. Having fun at the expense of others is demented. I can list on all 2 of my digits people who can and/or have been a better Staff member than you. You are a joke. Staff can administrate a PK as a punishment if the rulebreak meets the requirement, such as a mass mugging character, minge character, throwaway character, item transfer, dying during a failmug etc. It's generally left to the discretion of the handling administrator, however in this instance I agree with your assessment; so I will accept this appeal on the basis that you did not die while committing this mugging nor are you a mugging character or alt character. I will not be reversing the PK of any alt characters who were pk'ed alongside you. I will be applying a ban as part of the punishment for fail mug. I will amend the mugging rules to better reflect staff purview for punishment. Because of the incident we were able to identify the bug with the restraints turning into cuffs and will be fixing it soon. Your attitude needs to change, even in the last clip you say "the entire staff team and Pendred hate me" No one knows who you are and no one is out to get you, the staff member in question handled the situation without bias and applied the ruling and punishment to the best of his knowledge and experience, he volunteers his time to make the server a better place and is not privy to stalking your exact movements. The only person who got themself into this situation was you. The idea that an entire staff team 'hates you' is a very self centered world view. I consider my decision to grant you the PK reversal to be very generous, especially considering the number of bans and notes you have. Shape up. Your appeal has been reviewed and accepted. -1 Changed there faction discord server into 18+ and then stepped down and continues to kick all the under 18 players because she hates them all makes cringe roles like safety lock which moves you to a separate vc because you are under the age of 18 she will definitely show bias to the over 18 aged players.

When Processing drugs all it is sitting there for around 5 minutes looking at the processer Processing maybe adding more functionality like maybe some extra steps to processing or you have to do multiple rounds of processing I know this isn’t gonna be a favourite just adds more things to do really

What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: As a new player SomeSpy took me and several of my friends, one being DopeAsRoe, on this week long plotted out story arc and we had to rob a CIA cult house, the PD, and a Train. It made me fall in love with the server. It almost felt more like a table top rpg than a video game which was a really fun experience. Also, Jmoorsey Apology video was pretty funny. How do you handle this?: Assuming I'm not the only staff online I ask for an RDM sit in staff chat and show the other staff member the clip like usual. If nobody is online or they're all afk and it's been a while bring the guy to a sit with myself and give him a warn or ban depending on his PO's. Clipping the sit to make sure somebody else can go over my work if the person decides to make a staff report. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: Collect evidence, such as clips of the abuse and bring it to UA A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: I'd ask another staff to take it. If nobody is taking the ticket I take it and go through the typical sit process and punish the friend/faction member based on their PO's. Clipping the sit to make sure somebody can go over my work if it gets brought up.

+1 Maybe let someone else with more playtime temporarily be faction leader while you get it up

I imagine processing in the laundry spindle similar to putting buds in an automatic trimmer or sifting rocks from a brick of H/C, etc. it’s actually pretty hands off. And most of us are trying to grind through processing while balancing other shit, so why force us to have to interact the entire time? It’s not enhancing RP, just busy work to game-ify the process and make it so you can’t just relax and focus on guarding your stuff. I’m pretty against this. Processing is fine. Changes to it? I’m not opposed. But making me actually work once I’ve already done the busy work and now I’m doing the work to break it down and you want MORE? How often do you really touch bricks because godDAMN I’m gonna just start fishing if I’m forced to fiddle with any more shit just to get paid.

Yes the meta game ban does throw people off when they find out about it I got it around my first week in after a warn from Logan for it though it wasn’t my fault that I got the ban I still took it as they reduced it to only 5 days thanks for looking past it and thanks for the +1

HI I'm the guy that was with Anthony at the time I like to mention that the guy called RDM came back like 2 minutes later to talk shit and RDM bate, and he broke NLR to come back to the RP place and try to confront us by talking shit and I believe he was also in the wrong and I got a clip to prove it if you like to provide the clip I am more the happy to do so.

+1 I've personally never had a problem with them, then again I'm quite lowkey on the server. From personal interactions I haven't witnessed any emotional outbursts or generally other behaviors that would warrant concern about their composure as a staff. I think Unsatisfied's general disdain for immature, teenage shitheads on Diverge is quite warranted. Most of the kiddos on this server do little to nothing for actual RP. Some grown ass adults are even worse. The point of staff is to keep the server going in the direction set by the community manager (global rules and RP guidelines). I think this person would be capable of using and keeping their position as staff within that scope. In regards to potential bias, there's nothing a little good training from Byte, and a little probationary period can't take care of. I am seeing a lot of negative feedback here though, the accusations of metagame run deep, and it seems many other community members are very worried about the applicants bias. If your reputation requires remedy, I would begin now.

it’s an RP server, making it a 1:1 match of real life is not the goal. Also I used Dixie Mafia as an example because most other white gangs are white supremacists in prison or biker gangs. I don’t mind a white supremacy gang but I feel like that would be too mingy. Also I’m fully capable of just making something up, I don’t need to have it based of a real life gang. Leave ppl alone dawg idk why you’re hating… why do people have to roleplay their irl race lmao doesn’t that defeat half the point? Most players already do this. Plenty of people just run around saying the N word. Not anything new. As for shooting places up too quickly,,, speak for yourself. If I’m making a black faction it will be a mugging faction and we will invite escalation instead of being boring like some niggas here. I plan on running this faction very differently than others so it’s more for the experience (Custom suits and money are not the goal; but keeping your char alive during constant power struggles and change of leadership) I don’t really care for the other factions politics/alliances.

i liked this server, i try'd to roleplay without reading the rules, ok stupid on me, but no one told me there was AN ENTIRE FORUM WITH RULES. anyway, i did a stupid thing yes i plain out murderd a guy in an alley, i get off, go to sleep, go to work, come back home, wanna play, im banned for 24h i send the staff, they act like they dont care, dont even listen to reasoning, i make an appeal, it gets denied without even a chance to defend myself, this all took over 2 hours look man i just want to enjoy a good RP server and i liked this on, once again sorry for the murder but 24h without even listening, chill out pls, if u gave me that chance i would have come back to this server, learned some more but no, staff is too high up their own *** for reasoning. i have a life outside of gmod and i just wanna enjoy a game anyway thats all i wanted to say
