The Hi-Fi's are a jukebox like technology that play music when prompted. These Hi-Fi systems really set the mood and create the perfect vibe to match the style and image of a business or individual. Picture this: an Italian restaurant playing Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin to create that classic, old-school atmosphere. And in some urban areas, you might find places rocking the songs of Eazy-E or 2Pac for a more modern feel. As an already great technology, I think it can be better with a few additions... Playlists: - Playlists help organize music into a singular category. In the server, I help run the Trattoria (Italian restaurant on Little Italy). When playing music, I look for Italian songs, or something that matches. Having to remember each song can be a hassle for me, and others. A good playlist could go a long way with the memorization and help with choosing songs to match a vibe. Autoplay: - This idea would piggy back off the playlist idea. When a playlist is made, there would be an autoplay feature that plays music when there is nobody around to queue music. This can be toggled on/off and can either have a timer of 30 minutes to 1 hour, or just end when all the songs have played. (I think a shuffle playlist feature could also compliment well with the autoplay/playlist idea.) I think this could be a QoL addition!

What is your motivation/reason for applying?: My motivation comes from my experience being staff on other servers and the enjoyment that this server brings to me. I see a lot of times when certain things don't get handled due to staff members not being on and due to my very open schedule currently I have a lot of time to spend on the server. People breaking rules and not following the guidelines of the server at least for me ruins the experience of playing what is supposed to be a serious RP server. I also want to help keep the server up to the standard that people expect upon joining for the first time. I've also met many staff members and spoken to them about staffing, and it seems very interesting to me especially cause it's a lot different than the other servers I've played and staffed on. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I bring to the table a lot of staff experience from other servers. I have spent the last 2 years staffing for different servers on GMOD and have learned a lot about what is expected of a staff member. Many people come into staff using it for a power trip or some kind of status whereas my motivation is solely the betterment of the server as a whole. I'm also a very non biased person regardless of who is in the situation whether it be my friend or someone I dislike I will treat them no differently than how they should be treated in the situation. What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: My favorite moment would have to be the addition of Little Italy and having a sort of family feeling all protecting each other and getting to know each other throughout the last few days since map release. How do you handle this?: I would ask if any other staff were available to handle it as me taking the sit as me taking them to a sit myself could be seen as a "taking your own sit" kind of situation and could potentially look bad on me and cause problems. If no other staff are around, I would take the person to a sit myself and speak to them regarding the situation before making a decision on punishment. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I would take as much evidence of the situation as I can and then take that proof and explain what I've seen to the correct staff members that can handle the situation properly. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: I would first allow someone else to take the sit as it could look biased to others if I were to take the sit. If no one is around to take it, I would take the sit and conduct myself as I would with anyone else. I used to play MRP before this, standup guy and good staff member. I've never had/seen an issue with him and he always remained respectful in any type of situation. I've also seen him on this server, interacting with everyone and creating a name for himself. +1

Quick suggestion got the idea off the credit card thing when those factions were competing to change their drug racket. Currently criminals have 2 ways to generate income by conventional racket means: Gun selling and Drugs. My suggestion is to implement a 3rd racket addition such as: forged checks, counterfeit credit cards, embezzled union bonds, etc. This would work similarly to drugs except no processing and not as much profit, similar to how oil works. You would place the order for the shipment at a pay phone rather than your typical criminal racket npc. Once you collect the shipment you gotta trade or sell it via rumour to have the other person sell it to an npc on the map (could use existing drug npcs.) Why add another criminal way of making money? 1. Way more mafia 2. More crimes for police to go after rather than guns, violence, or drugs. 3. More grinding shipments for the don

So, I'll keep it brief, you used to get knocked out at critically low hp even by gun, I propose the return of being knocked out by fists, bats, hammers and all other blunt items The reasons speak for themselves, boxing rp which is picking up and beatings, dont know how doable this is after the changes being made but I feel like its more than plausible. After almost a year of playing on the server, I believe I have what it takes to be a quality staff member in the community. I know Bacon-Canadian and Pendred spoke about it a bit, there are also multiple people who played diverge much longer than I who claim it used to be a thing. With the release of a bigger new map, newer factions coming, and pendred maybe finding a way to increase the server population (idk I just saw him say something about entities and trying to lower them)- I feel like it would be a good time to release attachment rackets to increase faction revenue, player interaction/rp, assist in a certain power dynamics between the illegal factions, and help the factions with activity that don’t have gun rackets. They could also have serial numbers(for muzzles) on them, so they could be filed down, sold illegally, and police investigative rp can take place aswell- or sold legally but they must be recorded like gun store sales. it would also help more with taking from the economy and more into the governmental budget as the attachment stamps for gun licences can hold more meaning and power such as different tiers, and how many attachment's someone can carry/transport.

1. Illegal bank system separate to atm that cant be easily accessed and has to be upgraded for more space overtime. 2. Side mission system where you have to do something or turn in a illegal product for a random reward that may or may not be valuable (this could lead to better missions for better rewards) (this could be good for those rich guys that want to get their hands on weapons that are practically non existent) 3. drugs revamped to actually make you high so people could enjoy what visual effects those drugs offer.. i mean if people were tripping off lsd they would act it as well haha ----------------------- for #1 - This could be great for people who want a more rp situational illegal way of storing there stuff. This should be expensive to do but be worth in the long run. Might open a path to new npc's around the map for #2 - In truth this would give people other options of what they do with their drugs, like trading they could be rewarded either like a gamble for good or bad items or to earn rep from turning in enough that reaching a high enough rep could unlock new trades. for #3 - Drugs are kinda boring in this game, they could really make people want them more adding visual effects making players wanna catch them like pokemon cards to see what high they can get, on the flip side of the coin is in the real world mafia you would get wacked for doing so because they didn't want junkies running around in suits.

As I explained in the ticket you had made extortion is near impossible as it would be silly for non associated civilians to have the ability to extort made men of a criminal organization. If you tried to extort them they would simply PK you (at their own risk). If you want to extort or handle conflicts between groups join an existing faction and become affiliated.

I was involved with you in two separate sits. in the first sit i informed you that the next time you did something similar to this there would be punishment and i had given u the benefit of the doubt because this isn't the first nor second nor third time uve been noted/banned for RDM. The core issue with this idea, as it's been suggested and explored in the past. Is that the server at full population has high car despawn times, making anything other than an active carjackings effectively impossible, as well just balance issues. Like you mentioned, simply spawning a car to scrap it, unnecessary penalization of car owners, periods with zero police on or even just having friends spawn their cars to then scrap and abuse for cash. Just not a super feasible thing to implement imo.

There should be a threshold for fall damage breaking your legs. Like, maybe if you take half your health to fall damage it just breaks you legs. People just kinda parkour in chases willy nilly. Lets add some risk to those jumps!

Currently mafiarp is in a terrible state, all the older players left to play other games, the current playerbase seem to be lazy in terms of developing potential for new players and giving them a reason to keep playing this mode.
