Returning Food items to not be vendor registers [Opinion]

I would like to see the ability to pick the amount of the ordered item. +1 -
I don't think it's an awful idea with proper thought. Maybe the ability to choose the quantity of each item and the timing of it arriving be 1-2 minutes. Lasting 4-5 minutes. Have the shipments de-spawn instead of sitting at zero to prevent being littered. +/- Edit: Seems this will be looked at on another post and ideas are better.

Would probably be a good addition for equipping/unequipping guns but as for actually pulling them out it doesn't really add something - if somebody pulls a gun out in front of you close enough to see a /me you're either dead too fast to see it or they're not gonna shoot you so it just makes it useless

This is an awful Idea. -1

(Unless you have posted a valid LOA): Yes Are you familiarized with SAM and/or Nutscript commands?: No Do you acknowledge that lying on this application will result in immediate denial and blacklisting from staff?: Yes ------------------------------------------------- Long Answer Questions proceeded with an asterix require a response of 3 Sentences Minimum. What is your motivation/reason for applying?: Having been a member of the community for a while, I've often thought about joining the staff team. Now that my time has freed up as I am no longer staff on any other servers, I'm eager to dedicate my time and effort to Diverge. I have always enjoyed my time on this server and want to contribute the community. I believe that I can help bring a positive and welcoming feel to the server for new players by stopping rulebreakers and hopefully preventing future ones. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I have previous work as a staff member on many servers in the past and I know the ins and outs of general staffing. My time spent on the server along with having to read over the rules quite a few times due to my recent misunderstandings have led to a good knowledge of the server rules. On top of this, I am an active player; meaning that I will be able to dedicate a good amount of time to staffing and the server as a whole. Do you have any previous staffing experience? (Please list where, what position and how long): CivilNetworks - I was staff here for around a year and got to Senior Moderator, Icefuse - I was also staff here for around a year and also got to senior moderator; which is about the same as an admin in most servers , Multiple DarkRP servers that I can't recall - Multiple servers but I think the highest I got was assistant community manager or something along those lines. Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: I have been banned a few years back for item transfer however I learned from my lesson and haven't gone near it ever since. Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: I would like to say Andrew Spencer is well known in the community as he has been a cop for about 4 years now. Depending on who you ask my reputation may be good or bad, mostly because of people's individual thoughts on my characters. I hope that the majority of the people I talk to think that I am an alright person and I know that the majority of them think i'm tolerable at least. What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: That would likely be meeting cool people and making new friends, the best part about this server is being able to have fun whilst being able to bump into people and have a laugh whilst grinding away. Have any staff members recommended you? If so, list their names: N/A ------------------------------------------------- Problem Solving Detail step by step exactly the actions you would take. Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: If I was the one who got RDMed I would make a ticket as per usual; however if it was somebody else and I witnessed them get RDMed, I would tell them to make a ticket and explain to them how if they don't already know. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: Clip each occasion and report it to somebody who is of higher rank than myself. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: I would not take the ticket as it could possibly come across as bias, I would instead inform other staff members that I can't take it and explain why.

+1, I could actually use my company truck for pick ups/deliveries. -
I had this idea many years ago but it just makes criminal interaction too safe, and removes the risk of being scammed etc, which is a necessary balance to have

More restaurant focused RP is always good Also would love to see better vendor UI in general, categories and whatnot - assuming this would extend past just the food NPC? +1 -

Its aids waiting for people to get on to have to buy the baked goods I need for my bakery. HUGE +++++++++1 -
Hello, Once upon a time we removed the ability for properties to have food registers, in place of that we set up Shipment NPCs where people could order in food items (in bulk obviously), and then transport them to the property, and store them for selling to people. At the time, this was somewhat unpopular due to a few issues. Such as: - Storage entities were frequently being wiped, which would mean people would spend many hours organizing stock and arranging deliveries, just for it to be wasted. This is no longer an issue as storages permanently persist. - Having to have millions of storage lockers to store them in, making it difficult to effectively organize. - Lazyness. But this is a task that should be delegated to lower ranking members. - The old shipment system had dogshit configuration, so you couldn't order multiple at once. - Whatever else, it was years ago I don't remember. So we eventually reintroduced property vendors, but with a limit of 15 items. Today, I was reminded that we once had this system. Thinking about it, I realize that its reintroduction would come with many benefits, such as. - Not having to rely on me or Canadian to get on and change vendors when you want something changed. Which is a lengthy process, getting approval from FL, making the UA ticket then waiting for us to change it. - Being able to sell a wide range of food and drink items, instead of being limited to 15 pre-selected options. - Boost of available roleplay - new hires can be assigned as delivery boys, restaurants will have to organize their stock and have dedicated people managing it, ensuring supplies stay available, and much much more. We would make the following changes with this: - We would create a new type of storage item, that has a much larger inventory space, but in return it would only be able to store food items. Thus resolving the issue of having to have 100 storage items. - We would update the Shipment NPC UI to have organized categories so it isn't all cluttered together (like it is now). There would be tabs, nice and organized. - Shipment timing for food would also NOT be the same as drugs/guns. They would spawn immediately for collection. So I wanted to see what you all think - would this be something you'd like to see? I cannot see any real downsides to this, other than lazyness / not wanting to RP. But maybe there are some - so by all means let me know if there are. Or perhaps there are other things that would need to be done alongside what I have proposed. Either way, please let me know your thoughts.

These registers are gay. I want my guys to RP going out, ordering food, and picking it up. It used to be fun. New hires get something to do while they wait their new founded hour to order drugs existing players get extra RP in having to work to supply their restaurants Restaurant RP could be great again.
