The technical aspect and the usefulness versus just flavor are the main valid points you’ve had, which I did address. Realistically, limitations or “too much work for not enough gain” is more than a valid enough reason to dismiss a Car Wash. But it’s worth a shot. More than a few people liked the idea before I pitched it and a few like it here, so outright dismissal is uncalled for.

I took a roll call in chat on more than one occasion, curious if anyone does it. A few people said no, of course; some said it’s be cool if they *had to* and a couple said they only do it from time to time. It’s especially a good excuse to pull off the road if PD are screwing around. But, more than a few said that they do this act on occasion, period. No lies told. just being realistic my man, i roleplay when the time calls for it / scenario but kinda hard when 90% of the time its just people running around aimlessly. no need to get salty. cars are out for at most 5-6 minutes everytime they are pulled out unless someone is actively driving cause they just despawn, if there's a debuff for driving to long that makes car dirty people will just respawn it, people wouldn't really clean. Most civs just get hired / recruited to a faction or stay civ because they minge on it. This isn't a already existing addon, and it would require two different systems to make it's not really useful in any way, nor beneficial and it most likely just wont get added.

Why should you be unbanned?: I was just banned by boomroasted for apparent minge, which I do not think i was. all i put up was a sign saying "Riggs likes little kids", to set up for the police protest. In IRL examples, such signs and graffiti are usually present, and I felt that adding accusatory graffiti and signs. This is my first in game ban, and my second ever appeal, seeing as I have been a near stellar example of what to do on diverge.
