  1. Past hour
  2. not sad, but very much deserved was the NOI, for whatever the most recent iteration was (i think the 3rd or 4th atleast)
  3. Buying your fac in and still being more inactive than 14k
  4. Today
  5. murder inc 100% i don't wanna divulge too much lore but the tldr is the don was having his wisdom teeth removed and he hoped the street boss would take over while he away and of course the street boss didnt do shit so when the don came back he quit and wrote a 10 page manifesto on how diverge sucks mentioning how rp has stagnated which will lead to the server's downfall
  6. Im going to find you and spam intro
  7. genovese had their banks raided by *someone* odessa got wiretapped to death kirov got wiretapped, and both pked the don and the replacement don and died bonannos are the future victim of 30 colombo detectives 14k is dead, basically, just out of lack of interest i guess i think it was the OG cassanos that UA just deleted iirc whatever that gay russian one was that had like 5 players, i pked 3 of their guys on my crim character when they tried to mug me, then I got pked for triple murder and then their faction never recovered (i mean, it wasnt doing well anyway) and was deleted there was some irish faction that the detectives infiltrated, got into their HC, and persuaded to leave their alliance and then they phased out of existence every irish faction dying was sad, they had good RP they just couldn't keep people interested
  8. My opinion, was Diamond Syndicate. For a faction to die out due to inactivity (especially after being in the server for so long) just breaks my heart. There were a lot of good guys in that faction and I wish it didn't go out the way it did.
  9. Your ban appeal has been reviewed and accepted. The ban will be reduced to 3 days. While I agree that mugging is not against the rules, i would agree that your RP seems to stem from some vigilante standpoint to intervene where OOC rules are being broken. Citizens or white shirts that are minges should be handled by staff. You need a valid IC reason to mug someone, that doesn't stem from you want to "handle minges", many of these individuals could be new to the server and not know the rules or the level of RP we expect, in the future please allow staff to handle minges.

    Ban appeal

Your ban appeal has been reviewed and denied. See above for detailed explanation as to the rule break. We have determined this ban to be reasonable and/or justified. Ensure you have read our Server Rules.
  11. the introduction needs a timer or have it so only one appears on your screen at a time. shit is just used to minge.
  12. Yesterday
  13. +1 adding a actual petrol station would increase rp so much not only for crims but cops as well having to manage ur gas in a cop chase or the cop running out of fuel vise versa def opens up some more doors for RP
  14. God forbid anyone pitches something innovative that would benefit the server
  15. I’m starting to think some of you people hate racketeering
  16. Cant use Child since Yumekoo is on staff! I guess he could of lied about his age though!!
  17. -1 fuck a gas economy, next thing you know its gonna be like fivem where you can buy and place your own gas pumps and make idle profit
  18. Turn the 7/12 into a functioning petrol station. This would increase realism and immersion on the server, create more possible roleplay scenarios, and help fight vehicle minging. Making 7/12 a petrol station would also help populate the upper side of the map, which isn’t really used most of the time. Giving players a reason to go there for fuel would naturally bring more activity to that area. A fuel system would help reduce vehicle minging. With the recent update to car repairs already taking a big step toward stopping people from just respawning cars, fuel would make vehicle minging even more expensive and inconvenient. 7/12 would also become a much more valued property. The owners could have workers who optionally fill up cars (similar to how it’s done in New Jersey), and players could tip them if they want. This would add small but immersive RP interactions. Another option would be to make 7/12 unownable and turn it into a convenience store. It could be robbable and sell things like food and vehicle-related items. Some items from the hardware store could possibly be moved there. Some other ideas this change would bring include another civilian job, the fuel deliverer. Shipments could spawn around the map at the request of a dealer, and workers could go pick up the shipments and drop them off at the 7/12. Portable fuel cans could also become a thing. You would be able to fill up cans of fuel and have them in your inventory incase your car runs out of fuel, could also be added to the pk system to burn bodies with. Companies could also create side businesses where people who run out of fuel can call a number to have their car refueled. There could also be a crime aspect added, such as the ability to siphon fuel from vehicles. This could use a system similar to lockpicking, with a 10–15 second timer. After that, you could start siphoning fuel into small fuel cans in your inventory, which could then be used for your own car or sold to an NPC.
  19. people like ix crazy abuse the mechanic and do it on people like new players with no roleplay behind it just to bait names
  20. What's the current issue on intros like?
  21. instead apply the 5 minute cooldown to mutual introductions
  22. the change had 0 input from players that actually recruit and it’s out of touch with how the game is currently played
  23. retards dont understand that its a video game

    Ban appeal

Hey, banning staff member here. In the situation that you were banned for, (Clip for context) you start to snitch on the guy that shot you. (Not encouraging that, but it is within the rules). After beginning the roleplay with the (now present) police, you lie and say that someone else shot you, a random person not involved at all. (While the guy that shot you is still around the crime scene). This prompts a new situation for the police, one that is entirely fictional (and ultimately ends in someone getting arrested that did nothing wrong). The powergame rule in question: Powergaming is described as forcing a scenario or roleplay onto someone against their will, usually in violation of the rules. Using other game mechanics to powergame can include, attempting to force players to do things outside of the server, forcing players to commit suicide, forcing players to commit crimes, forcing players to RP or /me's against their will, forcing players to give their f3, etc etc, (irrelevant to this scenario) You may not invent evidence to force a roleplay nor may you take OOC matters into IC The scenario you made up led to someone that did nothing wrong get forced into roleplay against his will, and very negatively impacted their time in the city. I do not think this ban was unfair or unjust, but good luck on your appeal.
