What is your motivation/reason for applying?: * I really enjoy this server and have had a lot of fun playing here, I've ended up spending a lot more time on it this year then I expected, and I'd like to give back by helping out as a mod. Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: Clip it tell another staff member, If there was no one else on I would just pull the people involved and get perspectives and hand out the consequence's based off my best judgement. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I would ask the fellow staff member what's going on see if maybe I'm just unaware of something and If it doesn't seem to add up I would bring it up with someone in the next chain of command. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: I would try to have another staff member take the ticket to avoid bias but if there's no one that can I would get all perspectives and dish out whatever is necessary based on proper chain of escalation. ---------------------------------------------------------

feel like this would be good +1, especially if you get a dirty money brick and you either need to sell it to certain people like felons or npcs but would be a good way for some light grinding, better than checks hopefully and can actually make money. +1

ik im probably not the first one to suggest this and there very well could be a proposed update that has other plans with counterfeiting; but if not i feel like counterfeiting if done right could be a neat addition to the game obviously theres countless different ways to do it but at its core the concept i had for it for it was: tl;dr bleach money -> create money 'blanks' -> put blanks into printer to make into higher value bills dump bleach bottle into bucket>put real money in>3minTimer; money bleeds and becomes a 'blank' dollar>4minTimer; money blanks 'dry'>place blanks into printer>remaining 3 minutes spent printing. bam end product, rinse repeat it would be available to all factions as a quicker but labor intensive way to make money (presumably taking roughly 1/2 the ordinary shipment time, 10 minutes total) i dunno if it would be better whether or not the 'product' would be applied directly to your wallet for use or if it would produce an item of 'counterfeit cash' to sell to a dealer/deposit to an ATM to clean- maybe theres a better way than either of those who knows *'color printers' would need to be added to the electronics store (you could have a higher rate for citizens to buy it and a 'supplier/bulk' rate for any/all criminal enterprise 'employees' purchasing printers? might be more effort than its worth but just an idea) *'large buckets' would need to be added to the hardware store or any container for mixing money with bleach, really *if you're feeling particularly stingy you could add ink/toner for printers as well or have them break after X amount of uses. this could also be a way to enhance the quality of counterfeits as well though too *blanks could be air-cooled and/or you could be able to use a stove could make it go faster at risk of it failing/burning/exploding a stove *you could let people keep created blanks in their inventories to keep it a very malleable process in terms of time consumed. *felon exclusive opportunities if thats the the new in-thing if it isn't totally clear this is just a suggestion/brainstorm and hardly a well thought out plan. i dunno if the ideas are viable or interesting to others but but it seems like it fits the nature of the game and can be expanded upon further wanted to see what others thought/if yall had input or ideas too

Absolutely none. I came back to these forums when I heard that THE most important staff member of my era was banned. Diverge Networks would never be the same without him. Without Jmoorsey I think I would have to go on strike and quit playing Diverge as a method of protest. Thank god I still play every day and would never move on from such a beautiful city.

+1 Jmoorsey is a very valuable member of the Diverge Networks community. The fact that he was banned is a huge shame. Diverge would never be the same without such a great staff member for others to look up to. I'm glad that our omnipotent lord Pendred has given him the chance to come back as long as our beautiful little community would just vote yes on this poll. This is a call to action! I hope you all vote yes to bring back the players staff member!

As someone who is new to the server and has spent alot of time in the same faction as him i may be a bit bias but from a new player stance he has helped me understand exactly what the rules are, how not to get in trouble and all around been a good influence on me to help expand my RP further. I do believe in second chances and understand the severity of what he did to get banned but if any of what ive seen is an indication as to him changing he might actually become something further. The relationships ive made on here in just a few weeks has been more of a pleasant experience than most if any other gmod server, jmoorsey was 100% apart of that for me on the discord side of things and him amoung others are the reasoning behind me bringing in as many new players as I possibly can. Now if he fucks off again banish his ass to the aether and tell me i was an idiot but my vibe radar makes me think bro is actually sorry for being an real life asshole over a game from the way hes talked to me and the others about it. Hi, I was the staff member who pked your character. I was showed this clip: Untitled - Clipado com Medal.tv by the Probationary Officer, and I pked you for Violent Confrontation with the Police. However, another staff member showed me another clip (this one: Untitled - Copy - Clipado com Medal.tv) which shows the cop stated "That´s a pk" at the end of the clip, and provides further context of the situation. As per server rules, all communication must be kept ICLy. Good luck on your appeal, and I will leave the decision to another staff member who takes over this pk appeal.

Hi, I was the Probationary Officer in the clip: I am new to the PK rules so I accidently stated "well that's a PK". Honestly, I have no quarrels with this guy and recommend his PK Appeal get accepted. I just reported his PK because I was told cop shootouts are usually PKs.
