Reason for PK: I shot a cop.......

Why should you be unPK'd? What server rule or PK rule was violated?: I just join the server on the 28th and my friend was getting arrested after only getting 3 secs to remove a mask ....., after I proceeded to shoot the cop because I wasn't going to allow him to arrest my friend and it turns out their is a PK count for cops and they get to decide whether u get pk'ed or not that's wrong for all the wrong reasons and there is a PK count for cops to brag about I heard, regardless I'm new to the server and I'm still figuring things out and I deserve a second chance because i like the family I joined and the grind is worth it to and I don't want to wait a week to rejoin said family.

If possible please provide video evidence or photo evidence if PK does not follow the guidelines: no I don't

Hi! PKing admin here. I understand you're new to the server and that this may feel harsher because of it, but this PK has been applied in the same standard that the staff team consistently uses. You may disagree with the haste the officer used when moving to arrest, but that would be an IC issue to be argued ICly. Instead, you chose to open fire on the officer. This is a fair course of action, but, as I explained in the sit, it is one that has its consequences for failing.

To prevent everyone from escalating to violence against a police officer willy-nilly, there is real consequence to it, that being the potential permanent death of your character. You and your friend opened fire on a cop, which brought the risk of dying when the officer returned fire.

TLDR; you and friend shoot cop, cop shoot back, you and friend die. This is the risk you took in opening fire on the officer and you missed your shots. Had the officer opened fire first or unjustly escalated the situation to violence, this would be a different result. However, you were the one to escalate.

I believe you are confusing this with staff punishment. Your character being PK’d is more or less an effect from your roleplay rather than staff punishment. 

Per the PK guidelines if you initiate a violent confrontation with officers you are subject to PK if you die. These guidelines are set in place to make sure your roleplay actions carry weight. Otherwise you could just shoot officers everytime they attempt to arrest you, effectively avoiding all charges

While it is unfortunate you are unaware of this is something we don’t give second chances for, as it’s not staff punishment per se.

I strongly recommend you read the guidelines surrounding PKs to familiarize yourself so you do not have to go through this again, or at least understand what could come from your actions.
