Jacky
Name of Character:Jimmy "Lucky" Nickelson Character ID:131827 SteamID:STEAM_0:0:49213019 Your Discord ID#:400811648799080458 Date of PK: 1/15/26 Reason for PK: "Failed Mugging" Why should you be unPK'd? What server rule or PK rule was violated?: It was late at night, and after returning from being AFK, I found several individuals around me and had my vehicle stolen. That is simply background context. After returning again, I noticed I was being followed. To keep this concise, I believe there are two clear reasons why this incident qualifies as a false PK. First, the attempted mugging violated server rules regarding location. The rules clearly state: “You may not mug in a public place. You may, however, pull a weapon on someone and bring them to a secluded area to rob them. This can only be done when no one else is around.” In this situation, the individuals attempted to mug me in the street, which is a public area. We were also not in a red zone. At no point was I moved to a secluded location before demands were made. This alone makes the mugging invalid under the rules. Second, there was no clear or valid mugging initiation. According to the mugging rules, initiation includes actions such as holding someone at gunpoint with the intent to rob them, demanding cash or items, or making it clear through actions or statements that a mugging is occurring. In the video evidence, the only demand made was for me to get out of the vehicle. No demand for cash, items, or any indication of a mugging was made. As a result, I was not even certain that a mugging was taking place. Because the mugging was attempted in a public area and lacked proper initiation, it does not meet the requirements outlined in the server rules. For these reasons, I believe this incident constitutes a false PK. Thank you for your time and consideration. If possible please provide video evidence or photo evidence if PK does not follow the guidelines: https://medal.tv/games/garrys-mod/clips/lUSdZDBRkHr5mS0Pn?invite=cr-MSxCZG8sMjIzMDY1Mjk3&v=62 2 1 Link to comment
joeeey1
Hey man. The mugging was initiated in a yellow zone. You were told to get out of the car, which to be fair you did get out of the car. At that point, three guys were aiming weapons at you which put you under Fear RP. You decided to pull out your Tec-9 and try and kill the muggers. You were killed because you choose to disregard your own life by attempting to fight back. Attached below is the mugging map. Circled in purple is where the mugging was initiated. You could have been taken to any three of the red zones which I mapped out. Where you were mugged is a valid place to initiate a mugging. 1 Link to comment

Byte
Hello! So, under normal circumstances this would most likely be a deny. In this case though there are some external factors at play. As stated previously target mugging isn't inherently against the rules. The issue arises when factions use target muggings to try and chase PKs on those they do not like outside of their faction. That is what we believe to have happened here. The individuals have a had a recent track record of using muggings as a guise to attempt to PK people. This is PK hunting which is not allowed. We are lead to believe this is the case for three reasons. The individuals involved have a recent history of this PK hunting behavior, the lack of response when asked about this mugging, and the suspicious nature of the clip now being deleted. Your appeal has been reviewed and accepted. Your character has been reinstated and can be used again. Edited 56 minutes ago by Byte 1 Link to comment
