When given the hiring prompt if you accidently hit the deny button, it acts as if the char has been PKd / deleted. I just had a guy do this, homie cant join for seven days now. Seems a little flawed, especially for the less mentally fortunate. 
Make it to where the person can still join the faction even if they hit the deny button.
