Ammo should not be a physical attatchement

So my take on it is simple...jacketed hollow points, tracers, full metal jacket etc, should not have a physical attachment on it because its just straight fucking ammo
I honestly think that stuff should revert back to how it was without attachments and be free to interchange

I'm not talking about how you can change the caliber on some guns (.45 acp, .300 win mag, .30 etc) , because in irl logic you need to change the barrel of the gun to fit a larger caliber (plus other parts)

I'm just talking about the ammo in general (ammo type)
