Reason for PK:

Both characters were PK’d following a mugging scenario involving Lucien Dupont and my friend’s character, Andre Dupont. Certain server rules regarding raiding, item transfer between characters, and the creation of mugging characters were unintentionally broken.

 

Why should you be unPK’d? What server rule or PK rule was violated?:

After speaking with staff and reflecting on the situation, I now understand the mistakes I made. At the time, I thought I had a good grasp on the server’s mugging and PK rules — I’d been asking people around me questions because I genuinely wanted to learn and stay within bounds. However, I now realize several key things I misunderstood:

• I gave my friend (Andre Dupont) a shipment of guns from my main character, Alisio Ramano, just to help him out. I wasn’t thinking about using any myself at the time, but later, when I made Lucien Dupont, I ended up using one from that shipment. I now realize that still breaks the rules on character separation and item sharing, even if it wasn’t intentional.

• I didn’t realize that creating a character solely for mugging (Lucien) is considered Fail RP, since it avoids consequences that a main character would face.

• I was also unaware that the raid timer applies to groups, not individuals. When we lockpicked two motel doors, I mistakenly believed it was fine because we were doing it separately.

• Lastly, my friend (Andre Dupont) never shot anyone during the situation. He was simply following me around because I had told him I knew what I was doing. He trusted that I understood the rules, and I now see that I unintentionally led us both into breaking them.

 

While we talked in VC about the idea of trying out mugging before creating the characters, there was no metagaming during the RP itself. I fully accept responsibility and now understand how these actions negatively impacted the roleplay and broke server rules.

 

That said, I’m not asking for the characters to be revived out of entitlement — I accept the PKs and the outcome. I’m writing this to show I’ve learned from the situation and that I’m serious about being a respectful, rule-abiding player in the community. I enjoy this server a lot, and I want to continue growing with it in the right way.

Hello, I'm the admin that had pk'ed you.

Just to say you were only pk'ed on your Lucien Dupont Character not your Alisio Ramano. It was originally going to be both due to you saying you had item transferred but with a further look into it you hadn't item transferred anything. The reason for your Lucien Dupont character getting pk'ed was because after 30-35 minutes of spectating you with a recording started you had broken 6 rules with 3 of them being Breaking raid timer, Mugging character and Failmug, with mugging 3 people in 30 ish minutes and 2 of them was in front of an NPC and the other was out in public

While you may argue to not have known the rules around mugging and raiding, ignorance is not an excuse on this server. With this in mind, you have admitted to all of the things your character was PK'd for. The weapon shipments were used as both a means for item transferring and arguably character abuse. You then got on a character, this Lucien Dupont character, and used it for the sole purpose of going only for muggings and raiding. On top of the character being used solely for these reasons, you did it while still on cooldown multiple times even more so with the aid of your friend. In the future, I highly recommend you read the rules around valid character RP, mugging, and raiding.
