I am writing to appeal the ban I received for Random Deathmatch (RDM) baiting. I understand the seriousness of this offense, but I would like to explain the situation and clarify that it was not my intention to bait or initiate any RDM.

During the incident, I was casually roleplaying a game of bowling and basketball with a friend. While we were having fun, another player joined us and started interacting with us. As the interaction continued, he eventually told us to leave, becoming increasingly hostile and acting aggressively. In an attempt to engage in RP, I jokingly told him that he wasn’t “on shit” and lightly punched him.

At this point, he pulled out a weapon and started shooting at me while I was running away. I did not threaten him in any way or provoke violence, and my intention was simply to get away from the situation. My friend also tried to intervene to protect me, but unfortunately, it resulted in the situation escalating. I understand that it may have looked like I was baiting or engaging in RDM, but my actions were purely in response to his aggression, not to cause harm.

Why should you be unbanned? I play this server quite a bit, hitting my year on the server very soon. I have very minimal trouble with admins/rules.

Hi, I am the banning member of staff. From this clip I have provided it shows you stood behind a guy who was talking to a random white shirt who we now know is your friend who claims he doesn't know what he's doing on the server. You then randomly pistol whip the guy and when he responds to the threat your white shirt friend pulls out a gun and guns the other guy down.

This is clearly RDM baiting as there's no reason to randomly pistol whip the guy other than to get a reaction from him so that your friend can kill him and then your friend screaming "get packed up again nigga" shows your true intentions were to just bait a reaction from the guy where you had killed him 6 minutes before this interaction. You also have 5 notes for rdm and 2 of them within a month that's the reason I had banned you.

Thank you for taking the time to review my appeal and providing your reasoning. I can understand how the situation could have appeared to be RDM baiting, and I'd like to provide my perspective on the events in question.

I first want to say that I understand this clip appears to be some kind of deliberate baiting; let me reassure you that this is not my intention. This incident simply happened so suddenly that I see now how it may have appeared. I made an ill-thought-out split-second decision, and I can see how that would have been interpreted as baiting.

I feel that was a situation with my friend in the white tee that I should have handled way better, and I did not see it at the time. I want to make clear that I had no idea what was going to happen, and I didn't realize the implications of my actions. I am fully aware of the importance of game integrity and have learned from this.

Regarding the previous RDM notes: I fully understand how those could reflect on my behavior. The things I am doing are because I try to improve myself; I took the incidents as opportunities to learn from. I do want to become a better citizen in this community and follow this server's rules from now on.

Where possible, I would seize this opportunity and go back into the game with a determination that in the future, I conduct myself better. I fully understand that the ban may still stand, but just a second chance to prove that I can be a more responsible and rule-following player will be great.
