Reason for ban: RDM | LTAP | Extensive POs

Length of ban: 3 Days

Reason for appeal (dispute/apology): I had no intentions of LTAP, I waited like 10-15 minutes or so after the kill to avoid being PK active. I also saw the "Extensive POs" reason which seems farfetched due to the fact a lot of those are from years ago now. Shooting him without RPing it out more was entirely my fault and I wasn't thinking when I killed him but a 3 day over one kill on an officer asking for something that would've given me a felony just seem unfair and I apologize for my fuckups and I intend to keep improving.

Why should you be unbanned? I know what I did was wrong and I will work to not allow it to happen again, it's been a long time since I've been around southside and coming back I'm still refreshing myself on the rules of engagement in RP and I'd like a bit of leniency if granted. I truly didn't mean to leave to avoid punishment, I had already had to leave to go get my lady and when I came back I saw I was banned for this. Finally a lot of those warns and POs are very old and I don't think they should be counted against me as I believe I have matured as an individual.

You killed a cop for a routine ID check for a weapon you were brandishing in public. If the events would've led to a felony arrest, we require that you at least wait until you get to the arrest part / whenever he pulls his handcuffs out for this to be a valid kill. He was not in the process of arresting you for a felony, he didn't even have a chance to open the firearm license spreadsheet. And then 3 minutes later, with possible police and / or staff intervention potentially coming your way, you DC, hence the LTAP.

 

Also, not only do you have several notes / warns for RDM and other rule breaks, but your last note literally says you RDMd a cop for giving you a citation. That should've been your wake-up call to read all rules regarding killing police before attempting it again.

 

I'm not even going to lie, the original ban time I was going to set for a week, but I had noticed you haven't been banned since 2023 so I figured 3 days with that much history on the server not only should you know better, but you've been alright for a while so I know if I was in your position I'd want the staff member to at least take it into consideration.

 

I wouldn't be opposed to reducing this ban

I knew better than that in the moment as well I just allowed impulse to win and it ended me here. I wouldn't be opposed to a reduction either lol.

While yes, you did still ltarp, all of your POs are mostly from 2022, 2023, and only one ban in 2024. You're improving or gone inactive, ANYWAYS, standard 1st time punishment for LTARP is generally 12 hours. You're being reduced to a day, try not to do it again please and read up on the rules.
