Revolvers and Casings

Revolvers do not drop casings unless manually reloaded irl, this is not the same ingame.

Having casings with revolvers defeats the purpose of having using a revolver, this is one of the main guns used in hits etc for this sole reason.

Revolvers also some with the consequence of slow-shooting and reloading which is a disadvantage to those who use it.

With the new forensics update, this is need for sure.

Vote to remove casings for revolvers.

Somewhat annoying to do and is a little counter intuitive to balance. Casings can be collected anyway. They are very easy to clean up. No real reason, and if you reload your revolver those casings go somewhere!

no real need to mirror reality 1:1, video game and all.

forensics provided a huge advantage for police over pks - besides from the body, and casings but fingerprints on doors too?

This revolver change would balance forensic advantage and using a revolver isnt easy bc you only get 6 shots and then you must reload. Imagine if you miss all of those.

Reloading will obviously drop the casings. on a side note, fingerprints are found on casings too which directly links a person to the crime and when picking up these casings, you waste time trying to leave the scene while pk active.

using a revolver is incredibly easy, you get 6 high damage shots. If you have multiple people, or if you plan it out, or yknow, do anything requiring effort, this would make forensics basically impossible. Walk past a guy on the street, bang bang, no casings no nothing just a dead guy. That sucks.

As canadian said, no need to mirror reality 1:1, this is a videogame. If we wanted to mirror reality like this, I'd ask canadian that the state get state law enforcement back and that RICO make a return in full. PKs are fine, you have to actually be cautious and plan rather than just blowing people apart.

6 High damage shots from a single action gun, which cant be shot rapidly. Walk past a guy, bang bang, shots that can be heard from a block away and then you got cops swarming you. You cant put supressors on revolvers which is another disadvantage. This is one of the things that should be added so that revolvers are actually used.

I dont know much about the addition of state law enforcement nor "RICO" but these sound like full on additions which just buffs PD even more. What I am suggesting is just a fix for revolvers bc its literally one of the biggest advantages for a revolver - not dropping casings unless reloaded

You are making up the most bitchy, whiny excuses ever. Just pick up the casings or use gloves. If you genuinely cannot be asked to do a PK with some measure of care, then don't do a PK. I've done quite a few in my time, and by far the easiest method is just a single bullet to the head. Most PKs are done on people who aren't able to fight back and are lured in by trusted people. You just walk them into a room and shoot them and clean it up. It isn't difficult.

Cops do not "swarm you" if they hear revolver shots. There is no point for this addition, you can shoot someone and kick the bullet casing away or pick it up and throw it somewhere. Not hard.

Things like dismembering a corpse, collecting the bullet casings, using gloves, using alcohol wipes, using acid. The criminals have so many options to attempt to obscure evidence. Fingerprints on doors is disabled currently.

Disagree, the bullets are the EASIEST piece of evidence to clean up, they don't require any item to remove them, just half a minute of your time. The solution is to not miss.

The pros and cons of doing a hit in public vs a hit in a private secure location, a con being maybe not having time to remove all the evidence, but a pro being the mobility and confusion to escape while sending a message.

Some people fear Forensics but I'm of the opinion that even if you left the entire crime scene there with all the evidence in the world for the cops the only real way to get caught is if you are arrested next to the crime scene, the amount of evidence left behind is mountain of puzzle pieces and, not to discredit the detectives, don't think there's enough competence to solve very many cases on forensics alone.

I do believe forensics are balanced, and I don't see a need in giving criminals a further advantage with that revolver change (not that its hard to get rid of casings to begin with), criminals already have a massive advantage, it's literally impossible for you to leave prints on drug items!
