(Unless you have posted a valid LOA): yes Are you familiarized with SAM and/or Nutscript commands?: I know its not ideal but no. i am a fast learner though. Do you acknowledge that lying on this application will result in immediate denial and blacklisting from staff?: yes ------------------------------------------------- Long Answer Questions proceeded with an asterix require a response of 5 Sentences Minimum. What is your motivation/reason for applying?: I’ve really enjoyed playing on this server and thought that applying for a mod position would be a good way to give back to the community. I love how engaging and fun the people are here, and I think I can contribute to maintaining a positive and enjoyable environment. I’m also passionate about helping out and ensuring that players can experience the game without disruptions or toxic behavior. The server has been a great place for me to unwind, and I believe that I can make a difference as a staff member. Plus, I’d like to further develop my skills in moderation and working with the community. Why should you be considered over other candidates?:I believe I should be considered because I am highly committed and very active on the server. I have a strong understanding of the rules and am always willing to help out others, whether it’s answering questions or resolving issues. I also have previous experience moderating other games (though unrelated to GMod), which has given me valuable skills in conflict resolution, managing player behavior, and keeping a community fair and fun. I take my responsibilities seriously, and I’m always looking for ways to improve the gaming experience for everyone. My active presence ensures that I am often around to deal with issues as they arise and contribute to the server’s overall success. Do you have any previous staffing experience? (Please list where, what position and how long): Yes, I have had staffing experience in VR games. I spent an entire summer moderating in VR communities, where I worked as an owner in four different games. My responsibilities included managing player behavior, resolving conflicts, and ensuring the server maintained a friendly atmosphere. While VR is different from GMod, I believe the core skills I developed — such as decision-making, staying impartial, and dealing with difficult situations — will transfer well to this role. My experience gives me confidence in handling the responsibilities that come with being a staff member. Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: No, I have never been banned on any of the servers. Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: Yes, I believe I am well known in the community, and I have a positive reputation. I try to be friendly and approachable, always willing to help out new players or participate in events. From my experience, others seem to appreciate my presence and enjoy playing with me. I try to maintain a calm and level-headed attitude, which helps with both creating a good environment and resolving conflicts when they arise. I think most people would describe me as reliable, fun, and easy to get along with. What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: My favorite moment on Diverge so far is being part of the “family” within my faction. We’ve had some great moments where we’ve banded together to achieve goals, defended each other, and simply had fun just goofing off in-game. It’s those kinds of moments that make me want to stay and contribute to the server. It’s more than just a game to me — it’s the friendships and experiences that come from it. Every time I log on, I look forward to seeing my faction members and sharing these experiences. Have any staff members recommended you? If so, list their names: No, I haven't received a direct recommendation from staff members yet, but I’m open to working closely with anyone who thinks I’d be a good fit for the team! ------------------------------------------------- Problem Solving Detail step by step exactly the actions you would take. Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: First, I would ignore the player who RDM'd and avoid engaging with them while I am off-duty. Since I’m off-duty, I would focus on not escalating the situation further. If the RDM was severe or if the player was being disruptive, I would still report it to the appropriate on-duty staff members, providing as much detail as possible about the incident. After reporting it, I’d go back to enjoying my off-duty time, knowing that the situation is being handled. If necessary, I would follow up to ensure that the issue is addressed. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I would first approach the staff member privately and express my concerns, asking them to stop if they are engaging in any form of abuse. If the behavior continues, I would gather evidence (such as screenshots or recordings) to document the abuse. I would then report it to a higher authority with the evidence I collected, ensuring transparency and accountability. It’s important to address these situations quickly to maintain the integrity of the staff team and the server as a whole. I would stay impartial throughout the process and follow any guidance provided by senior staff. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: I would first approach the staff member privately and express my concerns, asking them to stop if they are engaging in any form of abuse. I truly apologize for not putting in effort in my first submission. i should have read/been more careful and took it more seriously. I understand if you still wanna go with your decision of no. --------------------------------------------------------- Edited November 17 by QUINT i hope this is an improvement 6 Link to comment

Canadian-bacon
Little bit of a rough start eh? Listen, stick around for a month or so ish then re-apply with a good application and we'll go from there. I think a fresh application is better for you. 1 1 Link to comment
