Map Suggestions

Map is borderline perfect and there's not much I can think of that would make sense to be added/changed, but nonetheless I'm curious to hear what some of you think.

Suggestions don't have to be entire buildings, it could be a change to a specific room, maybe a back door added to a property, something done with an alleyway, certain map props removed, anything.

I miss the Town houses!!! or if we could've have more apartment houses. But have them as only temporary use. Like the ghetto. Meaning no company can own them.

A construction site with only the foundation like stairs, floors, columns and a crane would be cool, could help anyone trying to do union RP or use it as a public building property.

Replace the movie theatre and warehouse. Fundamentally useless properties that hardly are used that can be replaced by more functional ones that people visit more often. Warehouses dupes are always unappealing and just look off all the time. You can probably find better properties to put there.

The fact that multiple intersection's traffic lights, stop signs and painted directions just aren't correlated and make no sense.

The 6 townhouses that existed before were never used, there is now 3 similar properties and 1 of them is still unowned. Vacant properties can be squatted in. No point in having an excess of properties that aren't going to be used whatsoever.

Replace them with what, theater was mainly added because its in an area nobody goes that would be a waste of an actual faction property. It's also cool to have when people do want to use it.

Addressed somewhat for next map update, however feel free to go through and make a list of what needs changing and fixing as we may have missed some things.

World corp reconstruction 🤑

Adds more RP for up incoming factions/companies to run out of the rooms and is overall a cool building.  The map no longer has usable tall buildings besides the apartments, which nobody can really use, unless they pay the owners of the buildings for keys.

Could you please remove all the props on the ground floor of Apartment #4? Such as the mailboxes, radiator, fire extinguisher on the wall, plant in the corner, bench, and any electrical wires or pipes.

I think it’s more so that nobody has a reason to go to that area to begin with. With the addition of the NOI property that’s going near there it will draw interest to the area. In whole maybe adding another property on that street wouldn’t cause no harm so that sole property won’t just be isolated and out of place in a way. 
 

In terms of what to put there. I’m sure you could put a vacant shop or even another property from Union City or something. Diversifies the map slightly and draws attention to a seemingly barren part.

The map looks and sometimes feels dry when casually driving around other than little italy and near imperial/BL. Players that are apart of factions that may not have access to any buildings, or those who are not even apart of any factions lack the possibility to own a building. 

Re-add basements into houses - It made it feel lively.

Add some more houses that vary in size and shape like the other map, these were used oftenly for drug deals and rp.

Replace one of the buildings in chinatown and make it an accessible apartment with purchasable doors, a small building like the one near the nightclub so the non-round-eyed dont have to go to the ghetto or motel

Note* - I understand the ghetto is open to purchase, but personally, everytime I go to do shit in there I dont want to have to worry about someone breaking in bc of the secludedness of the spot. Houses placed in the open with like a back door or a openable window would be cool for people robbing.

The giant warehouse across jewland? That should be replaced with mini-containers like the old map used to have, this opens up the possibility of people doing drug-deals or some sort of rp. As of now, that building is one of the most unused buildings on the server and its in a good spot too. Just replace it with anything like a parking lot wtvtf.

A tall building is for sure what needs to happen next. Something like La-Grande - bright, noticable, activity near, etc.

The theatre should be kept bc of what people do with it.


I think just one of the problems with the map is building accessibility, I feel the motel is nice but not to those who cant use it. The motel should be treated as convienience, not an actual ownable building. A building for those who cant go anywhere else. Do this and replace the warehouse with a faction building and voila.

Randomly give some bushes but not others collision hit boxes. Just to inconvenience people who drive through side areas.

I know Bingus will see this, shout out to that guy but sorry, your mansion is useless. The governors mansion takes up a large portion of the map and adds next to nothing for Roleplay and has been used in less events than you can count on your hands. The old townhouses created an area for people to own their own property and created fun roleplay. World Corp. also was another option for player owned property and some fun roleplay was held there. Either of those two options would add areas for roleplay and more people coming out of their properties to interact with each other more, also another place for cops to patrol.

Remove Bingus's mansion and give us more townhouses or World Corp. in its place!

Also people are mentioning that the Theater is useless, I agree, I haven't ever seen it used for anything other than drug deals. Remove it if it means more townhouses or bringing back World Corp.

Im not sure if this was talked about already, but change the tunnels, add a second car spawner in PD, and potentially remove KH inplace for a empty room which could be used for dupes. The tunnels currently has an issue where there's an abrupt 90 degree turn which kinda sucks to deal with.  The second car spawner in pd is so more people can mobilize quicker. The KH is currently not as utilized as it should as far as i witnessed, there's already been dupes made that take over what the KH is made for. I witnessed a jtf training utilizing a KH dupe in pd garage. Plus the KH kinda sucks. My Idea for the removal of KH is a blank room for someone to build dupes in, this allows the training room to be fresh more often.

for sure we 100% need another car spawn, put it near the custom clothing store or anyplace better

NOO I LOVE THE PLANT!.....or how about we get that plant as a prop to use. Honestly overall we need more plants for nicer dupes, would look less plain.

Fix the truncated domes on the crosswalks they are inaccurate they have 1 way to cross but extend to the other streets but have no crossing 

 

Add more things to do at barge or another boat maybe? It seems like 20% of the map is water and has nothing there

Bring back the Leprechaun's Winklepicker bar as there can easily be 2 bars in the city. (P.S if it happens its mine x)

Also lowkey miss renting World Corp offices was nice to have a good view of the city not really any buildings give you that now
