  1. Your Character or Steam Name: Julius Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:102430528 Your Discord ID#: julius.x Reason for ban: Item/Money transfer middleman Length of ban: 1 day Reason for appeal (dispute/apology): Dispute Why should you be unbanned? I am first of all very confused of why I got banned from the start. I just saw that UA removed my Moderator role, and banned me for a day. I have never been banned on Diverge, in 4 years. I know exactly how in depth people check logs when there is possible money or item transferring, and I have declined people asking me to be a middle man before. Story line from my point of view is this: I am a lawyer IC, I take a case where my faction member is going for life in prison whatever we do, and he wants his son IC to have his stuff. I ask a police officer to remove his cuffs so I can receive the items, which I do, and I walk away. I then meet up with the guy to give him the stuff. He is very new to the server, so I specifically told him not to under any circumstances give these items back on the jail guys other character. I told him this twice, as I forgot to give him something the first time I met him. As this was spoken IC, I don't have any proof except the guy as a witness. This is the whole situation, and if I knew that the guy would give any of the stuff back to his friend, I wouldn't have taken it in the first place. Short and simple.

    Ban Appeal

Hello! You explain the situation pretty well here. I don't see why you make this ticket tbh and whats the "dispute" about. You told me before what's clipped that this was a day ago, and I do acknowledge the fact that I should have realised from the clip that this is not from yesterday, but you did lie to try to get a free gun, you told me yourself. What made me ban you instead of something else is the fact that I did try to help you, ready to check logs for you from yesterday, and then you tell me it's a year ago and laughs at my face. If you would have told me from the start that the clip is a year old, or handled the situation in a better way, convincing me you're not trying to lie, things could have turned out differently.
  3. +1 This would be awesome
  4. In-Game Name(s): Julius Gigante, Juliy Petrov Steam Name: Julius Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/id/jvlius/ Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:102430528 Discord Username: julius.x Age: 23 When did you first join the server: January, 2021 Total playtime on our Servers (Do !time in-game): 3 months, 2 weeks Time Zone: GMT+1 How much time can you realistically dedicate to moderating?: Depends. when off work, couple of hours. At work, 1-2 hours. Have you read the rules?: Yes Do you have a working microphone?: Yes Do you acknowledge that you must meet the weekly minimum ticket quota of 20 tickets? (Unless you have posted a valid LOA): Yes, no issue Are you familiarized with SAM and/or Nutscript commands?: A bit, probably have to relearn it. Do you acknowledge that lying on this application will result in immediate denial and blacklisting from staff?: Yes What is your motivation/reason for applying?: The reason for me applying for staff is because I like administration, and I have been a part of this server since 2021, with over 3 months of playtime. So I know how the server is like, and I would like to contribute to the community. this is something I have thought about for a long time, but never pushed myself to it, but I feel like I would like to give it a shot! It's something I have been aiming for since years, but now is the right time for me to finally actually apply. My motivation is that I think I can do good in the staff team, and I think both me and others would enjoy me in the team. I tend to take stuff serious, and that is something I would bring with me in a staff position aswell. I tend to kinda go all in, which is the reason I have stayed in the same faction since I joined the server, but also something I would do within the staff team, which I would see as very fun and a new experience on Diverge. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I think I would be a good fit for the staff team because of my overall knowledge and experience within Diverge, what I said in the previous question about me taking stuff very seriously, and my time zone, which is mostly just a side note in this application. I live in Europe, and I have seen that many times I hop on DN to play earlier in the day, there is no staff online at all on. I think my age and experience has a corner in the question aswell. I started playing here when I was still a teenager, and still as an adult I enjoy it a lot! I like the community and RP, and I know that I would try my best to contribute with as much as I can as a staff member on Diverge. Do you have any previous staffing experience? (Please list where, what position and how long): Some smaller communities XBit Networks, FiveM - Super Admin, around 2019-2021 Parysias RP, FiveM - Community Manager, 2018-2020 Agonia SMP, MC - Moderator, 2018-2020 Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: No. Pretty sure I have no punishments at all. Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: I would say that I am well known especially by older players, and Italian folks. I have been thriving to not get into unecessary trouble, so I think my rumour is good, I haven't heard anything atleast. I guess my overall reputation would be that I am nice and friendly, but sometimes take stuff to seriously. I usually get along just fine with most people. What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: Got to be when I was a manager at the Le Grande back in 2021. This was pretty soon after I joined Diverge, and we had so much fun. I met alot of good people who I still talk to on a daily basis under this period. Gambling before the slots and automatic tables got added hehe. I honestly got so many good memories with all kind of people from all kind of factions, and I plan to add to the list of good memories. Have any staff members recommended you? If so, list their names: xDutchCat Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: In the case of me being in game I would go on-duty unless someone else is handling it, which I would first make sure someone does. If I am the only available staff, I would go on-duty. There after I would make make sit with the involved if it's not a clear case of a minge going crazy. In the sit I would get evidence from both sides if they have any, try to calm down the situation, and then on my own if I feel I have it under control, or with the help of a senior staff member get the correct potential punishment if the RDM would in fact be RDM. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I would let someone in the UA know about it. I don't like going over someones head, but with someone who has a higher rank than me abusing which often is gamebreaking, I would go to UA. If possible, I would try to get evidence of the rulebreakage, and provide this to whoever handles the situation. To be honest though, if it would be a one time thing that didn't matter IC wise, I would maybe just go to that person directly, and then take responsibility to make sure it doesn't happen again, and if it does, then I go to UA. I am sure that the staff team is a nice community in itself, and that you can all trust eachother, but UA fills a good function if something like this would occur. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: First of all, I would take the ticket. I would proceed by talking to the involved, including my friend. Theres two scenarios, first is that my friend did RDM, and the other one is that he didn't. After getting some information from all parties, I would probably proceed by calling backup, another staff member who is not biased. For me to learn I would together with the other staff try to solve this, looking at evidence, and not my own thoughts about my friend. Personal experience obviously play a big role in a staff members decisions though, so there will always be a little bit of bias no matter what, but it goes both ways, and can sometimes be a good thing. I recon a good judgement is key, and that is something that is super important in the role of a staff member from what I have seen.
