  1. Hang-arounds will be doing things that what most of the current accepted factions' associates probably do, but actually gaining the whitelist and the RP associated is planned to come later. I don't want to whitelist someone and push them to move bricks to get money instantly. It can be interesting and engaging without a whitelist within the first week. I want quality players in my faction. -Giving them a few baggies and telling them to move them (They learn to navigate the map and learn where NPCs are) -Giving them a brick and teaching them how to break it down -Paying them for info on other groups (Incentivizes them to go RP with other groups and talk to people) -Paying them to do a grocery run -Paying them to restock lockers with meds and ammo -Showing them the ropes of weed production -Bringing them along to meetings with other factions and actually involving them (Not just standing outside and waiting) (This is just off the top of my head) By the time they finally become an associate and get a whitelist they should be able to run small drug ops, employ other hang-arounds to work with them and would pass on the info. After building up a small group around them/bringing others to the faction, the associate is noticed and then they may become made man material. I don't know why I need to post every aspect of my faction's interworking on here. I'd like some things to be kept unknown so its a surprise for those who might join. I'm not tryna pull a "trust me bro", but I'd like some things to be found out when people join.
  2. Fair Points. I did rely heavily on some prior knowledge a lot of people may not have and I should have gone more in depth. I also agree with application is not my best and I could do it better. I plan to make some edits after work tomorrow. More of my time has been spent discussing with HC on some things we could do differently from the prior factions we have run. Each time we have wanted to do something better or different and I think this will be no different. Its a solid faction of veterans. Not necessarily RP, but a faction policy I can guarantee is that there will be no kickups. I want the faction to be friendly to the casual player and I feel like its hard to do that. We are in a unique position where we already have enough money and the only expense we would have is taxes on a property. As far as I know, no one else is doing this. We want our members to want to play in our faction not feel like they have to hit a quota. I could go in depth into all the RP scenarios as a mob that we have done and plan to do, but they dont vary too much from whats already in the server or what you already know. Ceremony of becoming made, Tests and challenges Associates are given to prove their worth, Tasks for hangrounds to do that arent just standing at a door. We know how to keep it interesting for our members and thats what we plan to do if accepted. Engagement > Money. Also I have some faction events I wrote up from when I was still staff that I could bust out if there is a GM willing to work with us on them and set up the scenes.
  3. Name of Faction: Harrison Crime Family Number of Members (Minimum of 5): 10+ Type Of Faction: Crime Family Ethnic Background: American Name of Character running the faction: Johnny Harrison Jr. Your Discord: guitar.guy Your SteamID: STEAM_0:1:90879973 Your Server playtime: 4 Months, 2 Weeks, 2 Days 7 Hours Do you acknowledge and agree to all faction rules as detailed on the server rules page?: Yes Do you acknowledge that your faction discord will be owned by us?: Yes Link: https://discord.gg/Bkfruwg8yD Provide an example of the unique Roleplay your faction will bring to the server/what type of roleplay we can expect from your faction: Nightly News | Davis Boys Highlights | Iraq Event Provide examples or event ideas to promote activity within your faction and keep people interested: Business RP - Mainly depends on the business we are working with. Regardless we can find some creative events to host at it. Criminal RP - Private things like meetings, the hiring process, etc. will be fun for those coming in. Each member that joins the faction will go through a set of tests and missions in order to gain the trust of the high command. It could be as small as moving some drugs, pulling security for a meeting, or killing someone for the family. Ideally I would like it to take around 3 weeks to a month of being a Hang-around gaining trust to have the chance to become an Associate. Made members will be extremely rare if any get promoted compared to the previous factions. We want there to be drive to play and prove yourself in the group and not just a "walk in and get whitelisted" sort of faction. Also later on, I have a few faction wide events planned. I have a few already wrote out and others I will be writing in the case we are accepted. Id like to do them on a bi-monthly basis and get a big turnout for them. Organization Backstory (Min. of 250+ Words & any images): It All Comes Full Circle: Johnny's predecessors ran Harrison Corp. & Harrison Crime Family, He ran Davis Boys, and now he'd look to run it back one more time. Preface - In 1987-1988 in Southside, New York, Johnny Harrison Jr. ran a street gang turned organized crew labeled the Davis Boys. Members would commonly wear dark green "Magnetics" caps. They were known for not being a fan of the Italians or the way they would strongarm ethnic groups, they believed strongly in a groups' independence, and prided themselves on charging the least amount of kickups. After a strong year of moving drugs, acquiring a Russian heavy arms connect and moving guns, and having almost 300 members on the books at its peak, the leadership unanimously voted to retire. Things crumbled quickly after the leadership all caught flights going in different directions, but the memory of the group still lives on. May, 1989 - Johnny would look back at the legacy of Davis Boys and let it rest. It was time to bring it back to where it all started. Calls were made to places all across the United States. All of the heavy hitters of the Davis Boys would reconnect and meet in Miami after years of radio silence. As they sat around a table they talked of what they had been up to, but also what they wanted to accomplish if they were to do what they planned on doing. Eventually it was clear, they were going to fly back into New York and empty out those retirement accounts. Johnny would contact his Russian friend named *REDACTED*. He never left New York with the rest of the group when they cashed out and retired. He kept up with the assets Johnny had left behind. Among the random things he stored, there would be enough heavy weapons to arm a small country. DP27s, PPSHs, Skorpions, AKs, etc. The keys to the warehouse they were stored would be passed back to him upon his return. In the same warehouse a few luxury cars and a lot of Dodge Monacos would be left with tarps covering them. Johnny would take the tarp off a purple Rolls Royce and turn the key. It would sputter then start and he would drive around the city to see what had changed since he left. He would shed a tear as he drove past where World Corp. used to stand tall. He would wonder where it went and think of all of the souls it harvested. After driving a lap or two around the city he would stop in at a restaurant with the rest of the group and grab some food. Johnny would inform the others to lay low and take the coming weeks easy while he assessed what the current state of the city was. Many of those who Harrison knew would be MIA so connections would have to start over from scratch. The world of New York politics is what makes or breaks you as a up and coming crew. In the following days Harrison would try to reconnect with a familiar face and get caught up on what has happened in the time he and his crew has been away. Although funding and guns were already secured, it wouldn't make the come up much easier. The heavy lifting would come from who you know not what you have. The week would be booked with meetings and it would mark the beginning of the group's return to the city.
  4. +1 I'll oversee his Diverge rehabilitation. 2 Years in the Perm Ban Penitentiary. Release his chains!
  5. +1 Been playing with him for a long time before the ban on Diverge and like Pappy, I have been playing with him outside of the Diverge on other RP servers. He will stay out of trouble if given another chance.
  6. +1 Known this mf a long time and yeah he did have 16 mistakes while in Diverge, but that shouldn't define a man. I've been playing with him after he got banned on other RP's and he has stayed out of trouble. I also put him through a Diverge recovery program as well. He has changed for the better. Give the brotha a chance.
