    Ban appeal

I'd like to make a follow up to my previous forum post and focus on issues that have been had with the user "Bullets" on the server. On paper, “Bullets” is the underboss of the Bonanno crime family—a position that should command respect, fear, and authority. But behind closed doors, the name "Bullets" is a punchline. No one really knows where the nickname came from—some say it’s ironic, others claim it’s because the only thing he ever shoots is his mouth off at the buffet line. Weighing in at over 300 pounds, Bullets has more chins than confirmed hits. He waddles into social clubs like he owns the place, but the soldiers can barely keep a straight face when he gives orders. His expensive suits are always a size too tight, and his greasy, thinning hair clings to his scalp like it’s trying to escape. But the real talk around the neighborhood isn't just about his size—it’s his complete lack of presence. In a world where masculinity and dominance rule the streets, Bullets is known for being socially awkward, especially around women. He can’t hold eye contact with a cocktail waitress, let alone make a move. Rumors say he once turned beet red when a hostess at a steakhouse called him “babe” while seating him—he didn’t speak the rest of the night. Some of the younger guys whisper behind his back, calling him a “fanook”—not because he’s actually gay, but because, in the macho world of La Cosa Nostra, being soft or unsure of yourself is enough to earn the insult. It’s the ultimate disrespect in that circle, and it sticks to Bullets like marinara on a white shirt. Even the boss, who keeps him around for political reasons, is rumored to have called him “dead weight” during a private sit-down. But Bullets doesn’t seem to notice—or maybe he does, and just doesn’t have the guts to confront it. He's a tragicomic figure in a brutal world: a man who rose too high, too fast, without earning it—clinging to his rank while everyone beneath him mocks him with forced nods and fake respect.

In the annals of Diverge MafiaRP history, no name shines brighter than drm009, the legendary virtuoso whose immersive performances have become the stuff of server legend. With an uncanny ability to slip seamlessly between personas—from calculating underboss to street-smart informant—drm009 has redefined what it means to truly inhabit a character. His portrayal of Vincent "The Whisper" Marcelli during the infamous Pier 47 incident left veteran players speechless, as he orchestrated a three-way faction war using nothing but carefully planted rumors and masterful voice acting that had everyone questioning their allies' loyalties. Server admins still reference his month-long deep-cover FBI operation as the gold standard for investigative roleplay, where he maintained perfect character consistency while gathering evidence that led to the most dramatic courtroom finale in Diverge history. Whether he's running numbers in Little Italy or negotiating tense sit-downs in smoky back rooms, drm009's commitment to authentic dialogue, nuanced character development, and respect for the collaborative storytelling process has elevated every scene he's touched, earning him the unofficial title of "The Godfather of Diverge RP." On the other hand, Nick Meats is hands down the worst Bonanno Underboss the Diverge MafiaRP community has ever seen — and that’s saying something in a server full of questionable leadership. This man once tried to extort a bakery that he owned, forgot, and then paid himself protection money. His RP skills are so bad, people genuinely think he’s playing a parody character — monotone voice, zero emotion, and a criminal mastermind plan that usually involves hiding in a dumpster and hoping things work out. He once got caught kissing Bullets behind the Megamall during a supposed "secret meeting," and now half the faction calls it the Meats & Bullets Summit. It's honestly impressive how someone can simultaneously forget the rules, the storyline, and the location of his own HQ. The only legacy Nick Meats is leaving behind is confusion, chaos, and a lot of very awkward screenshots.
