  1. +1 don’t know him but he has my approval, merry christmas
  2. hello all. I am limited on discord until tonight. don’t be afraid. I am alive. Love to the people who checked up on me. We will ban toast together
  3. Hello Justin Smalls! I am the staff member who issued your ban. The reason you were banned was because you left during an active RP situation that was going to lead to your arrest. Whilst we did see that you timed out, 15 minutes is more than sufficient time to load back into the game, therefor I decided to hand you a 1 day ban. I believe my ban is justified and fair, good luck on your appeal!

Hello, I am the staff member who issued your ban. Your actions clearly constitute Cop Baiting & NITRP. You intentionally baited the scene with the law enforcement officer in a way to provoke him rather than actually facilitating meaningful roleplay. This combined with your extensive prior offenses, shows for me a pattern of rule violations and that you have yet learnt from them. This is what led me to ban you.
  5. +1 Nice guy, have had some RP interactions with him on my PD character, seems solid and would make a good fit for the staff team.
  6. +1 I recommend this boi. Throughout the time that I have played with him and had interactions he's consistently been professional & respectful. He's got very strong RP skills and asseses RP situations well and in my opinion always makes an effort to de-escalate arising problems. He's easily approachable, has a cool temper and would make a great fit for the staff team. Very cool guy!
  7. I guess that's a possibility, but on another count it could have a limit / only authorized to be deployed by Supervisor+ and as I said also a short timer before it gets deleted so it doesn't clog up resources.
  8. It's a solid suggestion though; What are the downsides?
  9. I would like to suggest the possibility of adding spike strips for the PD. This would be such a beneficial way to stop pursuits instead of ramming them and possibly escalating situations more than need be. This encourages more teamwork during pursuits in my opinion, and to keep this balanced they could be limited to PD only obviously and having a short despawn time so people who are not apart of the pursuit don't get affected by it if we forget to remove them. I don't have a single clue if this has existed before and it hasn't worked but I would like to see it being implemented. Thanks!
  10. As I mentioned I am using a seperate steam account, once again I was given approval for this for my own reasons by UA. As for you grabbing my discord ID and name it does not surprise me that nothing pops up as for TyphonNetworks forums are no longer up and I don't image that the IcefuseNetworks JvS forums are either. Also as a act of good faith I have sent my original steam account to a member of Upper Administration to prove that I am not attempting to circumvent or hide anything. As for me being made in such a short amount of time I would believe that to be a issue for RP and has nothing to do with my staff application or anything oocly. Again thank you for your concerns.
  11. Hi! Thanks for your feedback. You killed your own character six days after I joined the family so that may explain why we haven't had many encounters. I also have another character which is a Police Officer that I often spend time on which may also explain.
  12. Hello I appreciate your concerns. However your claim of me blatantly lying on my application is unfounded. I switched to a seperate steam account for my own personal reasons which UA were made aware of and also approved of. My playtime and experience that I have gathered from Garry's Mod RP are linked to my old account and not the one that I am currently using. I have also noitced that you created your forums account not too long ago, which makes me skeptical on whether or not you may be a troll. I also couldn't find you under the name "Justeky" or "NaturalComedy", however maybe you go under a different name there and I am just unaware. All things aside I am perfectly willing to answer any legitimate questions about my experience and time on Gmod you or anyone else may have, however I would appreciate if they were brought up in good faith rather than being called a liar right off the bat.
  13. What does this have to do with my application? Lol.
  14. Many thanks for your feedback. I completely understand your concern in regards to my playtime. I’m very committed to getting time in whilst simultaneously grasping a good understanding of how the community runs. At the same time I do believe that if you have a clear understanding of how the communities rules are and how to enforce them, then the playtime is a little less important especially if staff are needed in a specific timezone, and don't get me wrong I totally understand the importance of knowing ones community. Thank you for your comment in regards to my temperament I appreciate that. Nonetheless I will continue to improve my playtime on this community regardless if I get accepted or not.
  15. In-Game Name(s): Dante Genovese, Soldier for the DeCavalcante Crime Family & Officer Murphy Clementine Steam Name: ruze Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561199843233736/ Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:941484004 Discord Username: ruze Age: 20 When did you first join the server: I have known about Diverge since it's release but never really played since I used to play on other communities where I was apart of RP importance. I did play at one point when the UCS were implemented in 2023 where I did a job as a investigator (basically a glorified information checker). Didn't last long until I left due to personal reasons. But I recently came back to this community and found a new love for it. Total playtime on our Servers (Do !time in-game): 2d 20h 23m. Regardless of my playtime I have been encouraged by senior members of administration including a member of Upper Administration to apply. Time Zone: EU (I literally am on like at all times so I am very flexible, usually on all morning during EU times all the way to peak NA times). I'm j*bless, god bless. How much time can you realistically dedicate to moderating?: I don't have many real life commitments outside of the house at the moment so most of my free time will and is spent on the community. Have you read the rules?: Yes. Do you have a working microphone?: Yes. Do you acknowledge that you must meet the weekly minimum ticket quota of 20 tickets? (Unless you have posted a valid LOA): Easy work, yes. Are you familiarized with SAM and/or Nutscript commands?: I used to be very familiar with these commands due to past experiences so a quick refresh on them and I will be up to par again. Do you acknowledge that lying on this application will result in immediate denial and blacklisting from staff?: Yes. ------------------------------------------------- Long Answer Questions proceeded with an asterix require a response of 3 Sentences Minimum. What is your motivation/reason for applying?: My motivation for this application is through the encouragement that I received from members of administration and also my wants to help this growing community and see it thrive. I want to be directly apart of the growth of Diverge and I believe through applying, I will have a more direct role in seeing this community thrive. Despite my short amount of time on the community I have found a deep interest and connection to the community which has further fueled my personal interest of being something bigger on the community and helping out the player base. Often times I have found because of my timezone (EU) there are individuals breaking the server rules and I cannot help despite how much I would like to which is why I am making this application. I believe if I were to be accepted for staff I could make the standard of EU timezone roleplay for Diverge a lot better than just time for minges to play. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: To start off I would say I have experience greater than many others. I have been around the serious roleplay community of GMOD since 2017 and from that time I have learned a lot of the ins and outs of serious roleplay. Through my experience I have picked up knowledge on how staff members should act through their official duties. I would consider myself a professional and cool-tempered person and I would like to believe that others who have had experiences with me would agree. I am also a dedicated problem solver and a fast learner. Because of those skills taking tickets which involve solving problems will feel like a breeze not only for myself but also the player requiring assistance. Whether if they are technical issues or disputes between players I will be able to handle them efficiently and effectively. Overall I have experience in both roleplay and administration to be more than qualified for the position of Moderator and Staff of Diverge Networks. Do you have any previous staffing experience? (Please list where, what position and how long): TyphonNetworks - Administrator, 6 months atleast potentially a year. IcefuseNetworks (JvS) - Senior Administrator, would estimate to about 2-3 months. WorstCaseScenario (One of the biggest Arma Reforger communities) - Moderator, 1-2 months. I have experience through other servers, communities and other games without notoriaty. Essentially with the same social work that I would be doing here. Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: No. Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: I am not particulary well known with the broader community however in my clique (The DeCavalcante Crime Family) I would like to say that I am fairly well known for good reasons and I would like to think that I have helped out in more than one way. I would also like to mention that I have progressed through the Police Department in a speed which I believe some have not and that I am a somewhat friendly face to a few members of command. Despite me being fairly new to the community I have progressed a lot more than the typical player has and have shown that I am reliable and someone who wants to fulfill his goals on this community. What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: I do not have a specific favourite moment so far however I would like to say every moment on the server has been my favourite. I have had nothing but good times on the server since I came back from 2023. Have any staff members recommended you? If so, list their names: jj & Monaclu. ------------------------------------------------- Problem Solving Detail step by step exactly the actions you would take. Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: I would get on my staff character if I was not in an active roleplay situation; get the Steam ID of the individual who RDM'd me through the logs and take him to a sit room. From there I would question him on why he RDM'd me and depending on his response I may give him a verbal warning or a note. If he were to be disrespectful I would give him a note. If he were to be respectful and if I were to believe that he was a newer member of the community I would give him a verbal warning and return him. Regardless in both situations the infasis would be on what he did wrong and I would explain that to him thorougly in both situations. In the case that I am in an active roleplay situation and I would believe it to be inappropriate to switch to my staff character after the RDM I would get the individuals Steam ID through the logs and request another member of staff to take him to a sit room and talk to him and I would also provide a clip. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: If the abuse were to be malicious towards the community I would document the abuse and reach out to a member of Upper Administration regarding the situation. Even if the abuse was not neccessarily malicious towards the community I would still document it and reach out to Upper Administration and see if it is something that needs to be dealt with. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: If I were to take the ticket not knowing that it was my friend or a member of my faction I would take to both players about the situation and bring in a second opinion through communicating to other members of staff in the staff chat. From there I and the other member of staff can deliberate on a fair and unbiased conclusion of the situation. If I noticed that it was a friend of mine and or a member of my faction I would not get involved and wait for the ticket to be taken or accepted by another member of staff. The reason for this is if I were to take the ticket it could be seen as biased if I side with the person in my faction or my friend.
