Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: I would head on duty and await them to be reported. Should a report be made I would hop on my staff character and claim the ticket. I would first bring the alleged victim and ask for a clip while checking logs. I would then pull in the accused if its proven to be RDM. I would check their notes, and if they had prior RDM notes that are recent within a month or so I would punish that player for RDM. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I would report it to Upper Administration, such as a Senior Administrator or a Superadmin. I would document in detail the violations of the staff member and compile a list of videos, screenshots, testimonies and so forth. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: Bias would exist and I would staff chat in that another member needs to take the ticket. If no other staff are on I would mediate it as unbiased as possible. If there is sufficient proof, there may be a NITRP ban as a possibility. If there is no proof I would tell the accuser to get evidence next time or don't make a ticket. ---------------------------------------------------------

So what your saying is your roommate created a steam account on a different device (phone, tablet, handheld, etc.) and then built his PC in the span of 2 days then a day later after buying Garrys Mod and having created his account on the same day you claim he started building his PC, he then joins the server on that next day to get banned? I don't buy that your roommate all of a sudden had the urge to build a PC just to play Diverge 1980's Mafia RP. What I actually think happened is you had enough money so you created a new account and bought Garry's Mod thinking you'd slip through the cracks. The fact you'd lie on your appeal is disgusting and shows your not deserving of an unban.

You also left while in a confrontation. Also I highly doubt your "roommate" logged into the server. The account was created on the same day you were banned. I find this ban to be justified and your notes prior to your ban hold up to my ban reason. You shouldn't have bought a copy of Garrys Mod on an account you created and then alted to get back on the server. Your fault.

For my full opinion: I don't know what exactly led up to your one day ban but if you actually joined on an alternative steam with GMOD then I think you made a very unwise decision. However I think your an outstanding member of the community and while I don't have your notes and haven't looked into your past bans I believe you should be given a second chance.
