First off, when I was ban I was ban for Item transferring (there is a script to prevent it). Me and a long time friend and ooc family member wanted to test out the new PK script. He texted me one day and asked if I wanted to PK one of my old characters, i said why not because I was not going to use it anymore, and why not have a good rp with it. So what we did was I mugged one of their chars in the crew so then they would have a reason and they could get a good clip for an edit or YouTube video (not really sure what it was for either YouTube or something else all I know is it was being clipped for something). So then once everything happened and the guy I mugged got set free, I went to drop the stuff I took out of the guys pockets and dropped it. I know that the rule book does state " you may not transfer money or items between any of your characters in anyway. Nor are you allowed to act as the middleman for someone else's item or money transfer. Transferring items or money between two of your characters is not permitted under any circumstance." This quote says how any type/sort of item transferring is strictly prohibited no matter who your doing it for. I am wondering if we can do a zero tolerance policy/ 1 strike policy if you choose to remove my ban. I do understand it was wrong and I do understand that I have extensive POs. I know that what staff may see when they see my play time and my past POs may think that I am not worthy of being the the community but I owe up to what I did. It was a first for me, I have never item transferred before. I have tried to do any type of item transferring, but for some reason on this day I thought it would be a good Idea, I am not sure why and now I deeply regret it. I want to be able to come back and play with the people that I have played with for years from other servers and with people I have met in this server. I think I am ready to come back and that staff should take this appeal into consideration. Bullets gets whitelisted, I crash during the whitelisting, so I wasn't even shown anything such as drugs, Oil, guns or anything illegal. Bullets doesn't even show me anything until I crash again, and then when I get back on, he's unwhitelisted by staff. So at this point, what's the point of me being in the faction if A. The unfortunate reality is that drm009 consistently demonstrated the opposite: a pattern of hostility, an inability to respect boundaries, and behavior that escalated tensions rather than defused them. 2. History of Hostility and Aggression Looking at past conduct, it is clear that this is not an isolated incident. The ban did not occur because of a single mistake or a minor misunderstanding — it came after a long buildup of concerning behavior. There are repeated accounts of drm009 becoming confrontational in OOC chats, making comments that crossed the line from heated debate into outright insults, and lashing out when criticized. This kind of pattern is not something that can be overlooked simply because a character was memorable. Every time staff attempted to address issues, the responses were defensive or hostile rather than reflective. It is telling that even now, the focus of the appeal and the supporting comments is primarily on the supposed greatness of the character, rather than genuine acknowledgment of the harm caused. That lack of accountability is the clearest sign that nothing has really changed. 3. The Nature of the Supporting Comments Another red flag in this appeal thread is the style of the supporting comments themselves. Many of them read as over-the-top, excessively flowery, and suspiciously AI-like in tone — long passages of dramatic praise, calling the character “irreplaceable” or framing his absence as a deep cultural loss to the community. Without that foundation, there is no reason to believe that the outcome would be any different the second time around. The last thing the server needs is a return of old drama. Every time one disruptive player is reintroduced, it risks reopening old wounds, reigniting arguments, and creating unnecessary division. Communities thrive on trust and consistency, and nothing erodes that faster than the perception that toxic behavior is tolerated simply because someone is entertaining in character. 5. The Ban as a Necessary Safeguard Bans are not handed out lightly. When a permanent ban is issued, it is done so with the understanding that staff have weighed the evidence, seen the recurring behavior, and determined that the risks outweigh the benefits. To overturn that decision would require overwhelming proof that the player has changed, acknowledged their wrongdoing, and demonstrated sustained improvement outside the server. None of that is present here. What we do see is an appeal that leans on the character’s popularity rather than accountability. We see supporters who write long essays filled with flowery language but little substance. And we see no clear plan or assurance that the problems that led to the ban would not repeat themselves. 6. Protecting the Health of the Community Ultimately, the question staff must answer is simple: does unbanning this player make the community stronger, safer, and more enjoyable for everyone? Based on everything here, the answer is clearly no. The risks are too high, the past behavior too damaging, and the lack of genuine accountability too obvious. The health of the community must come before nostalgia for a single character. Countless players contribute every day without causing disruption, without disrespecting staff, and without driving wedges between members. Those are the people who deserve to be prioritized and supported — not someone who repeatedly undermined the community’s stability and is now attempting to return without real change. Conclusion: While drm009 may be skilled at creating characters, roleplay ability is not a substitute for respect, accountability, and maturity. The ban was justified, and nothing in this appeal demonstrates that it should be lifted. Allowing this player back would risk undoing the stability that has been built since their removal and would send the wrong message about what behavior is acceptable. For these reasons, I strongly urge staff to deny this appeal and uphold the permanent ban.

One of the main reasons you got banned, yet in one of your only chances of being unbanned, you directly admit to continuing what got you in this place.... I'm not staff anymore, but I do remember investigating your mugging chars, they weren't mugging chars, because you mugged on every single char, and constantly item transferred. While it wasn't an item transfer 1:1 as the rules define, you abused your characters and consistently rewarded your other characters with your mugs. This completely takes out the risk factor of losing your character, hence you're giving yourself just the reward part left. All this to say, in your appeal, you directly say you'll continue doing what you were banned for. I'm not staff nor does this message even mean anything, but I do genuinely do not believe you fit anywhere into the server and cannot find your ground.

its not always about server location, it could also be server performance. for example if theres a lot of cars out, it'll cause more ping lag naturally, because cars are heavy to run on a server.

system worked exactly as intended and the ban was warranted. if you ask for a dollar, and someone gives you a dollar, your request was fulfilled. the system was coded to stop someone who is currently banned, from joining on another account, using the same ip address. without breaking garry's mod TOS by writing a 'hwid' and not easily exploitable, this is the simplest way. garry's mod function GetIPAddress is the most identifiable thing that they give developers, unless hey, give us your full legal name, address, hwid, and download this funny exe every time you join the server for server 'security'. doesn't that sound a little crazy? sorry ill stop causing beef, but you are negligent, be happy you're getting unbanned

Banning admin here, You were banned for LTAP because the cop arresting you had said that you were doing a spinning tactic to stop the officers from dragging you. Which is why I added NITRP. You have a boat load of PO's and seem to not learn your lesson from the ban times. You were intentionally stopping the officers from doing their job due to a game mechanic. After you had finished doing your little spin technique, you go to the jail cells, and instantly went afk. You did not give the officers any warning that you had to leave, so this whole "Something was going on in my house", I'm calling bullshit. You intentionally went AFK the second you realized you couldn't get out of jail. You have 10 notes, and 5 bans (prior to this one), every one is related to LTAP, RDM, or NITRP. The three things that you continue to break. While yes, you did never disconnect from the server, you intentionally went afk, after trying to use a game bug to get out of the arrest. I felt 3 days was juste as you have many of those notes accumulated very recently.

Banning admin here, Just to start because this is the line that everyone will read. I was wrong about stalling cars and I fully admit that, it is my fault. My brain was being a little slow and I was under the assumption when you said stalling, you meant "the car's engine turning off after trying to go into 1st" for example. I was unaware that your car was already heavily damaged, in which does cause the car to break down and spur out a little intentionally. While there was no clip given to me during the sit, you offered to show it yet never uploaded it and clicked off it very quickly after I made my decision. You said it was an accident, but when the car stalls out, you can just stop holding down your shift and S key. In the very buggy clip that I've got of the screen recording, you see you come in beside the group, not hitting them, then the car stalls, then you slam it into reverse? Whys that? If a cars stalled, and you're going in a direction (what looked like going towards hardware from little italy), but instead you stopped beside the group and reversed. Yes, it was only one kill, but you still, from my information gathered, intentionally reversed into the crowd of people, still making it mass VDM. Considering you just got off a permaban where the reason was for Mass RDM while racking up a whopping 9 notes and 10 bans. I felt that 3 days was wayyyy more than fair. You were on someone's property, who doesn't have the proper paperwork for your little stage. The clip prior is to show context that you were seen harassing the members of the establishment. PET flags are meant to expand on your properties, not to minge by placing it on others properties, and etc... If you get your flags back, what will you do differently if provided the same situation?

With your PO's and the short cut clip, it all could've been solved by simply showing a longer clip, it seems intentionally cut. Even in both of the clips both of you are talking about how you've come back and punched them out before. It was a little unclear at first that punching windows could result in harm to a person, but when its done in a mingy way and consistently to annoy the shop owners, yes absolutely you can be punished for it by being shot/harmed/punched/killed. Banning admin here, You got banned for the 3 reasons because of your mugging group. Unlucky that you got involved. Not only was it a mugging group, with intentions of ruining other's roleplay experiences, but you were abusing your alternative characters to buy guns and "sell" them to your friends. When asking the rest of the group about their intentions with the name of the group and their plans, they brought up "Detachment zero did it, why can't we?", your group was mugging multiple people very often, then asking the police department for money to release the prisoner. TLDR: Your only intention, as a group, was to involve police. Oh btw, I am still in the group chat so if you need proof, I can pull it all up for you. Along with my DM's with MVPMason.

When joining a faction you received a prompt on your screen saying something along the lines of "Joining an illegal faction is extremely dangerous and can get your character killed at any time ... etc". They didn't specify to me in the sit what exactly the disrespect was. You broke faction rules, not server rules. I am not in the Colombo's therefore I do not know their rules. The PK is a consequence from roleplay actions where the don (boss) of the crime family, that you decided to join and vowed you life to, decided you could no longer be kept alive.

That is not a valid pk reason. You make a character with the full purpose of snitching. You've done this before, and did it again. You lied to UA by saying you joined a "week and a half ago" yet we have logs for recruitment. You joined 5 days ago. You lied to UA by saying you snitched "yesterday" yet not only Canadian-Bacon, but myself, when I was taking pictures of you, were snitching 2 days ago. These are both important times that you should remember. The whole problem stems from you snitching to cops with zero reason. You snitched on Altoviti before anyone knew who you were and told them "they were going to kill me", yet not a single person knew who you were, so you knew, 100%, you were going to die randomly? Yet no one had a reason to do anything. You died because you were caught, snitching on something that didn't even exist yet and probably wouldn't of ever existed if you weren't so stupid. TLDR: You made this character with full intent JUST to screw over a faction that you were blacklisted from, had zero reason to snitch and had zero reason to suspect that you were going to die, because no one knew about you nor did we care until you brought it upon yourself using OOC information, in character. I agree with Monaclu, blacklists are stupid, but when you do stuff like this? Yes, absolutely you should never be allowed in a faction again.

In the sit, and in the appeal, you talk about power gaming yet talked about your friend being a rule junkie. (Don't mean it offensively, just that he should know the rules too) This rule here, clearly states that you as the muggers need to bring your own equipment to continue a mugging to retrieve the belongings. I explained to your during the sit that the reason it is not power gaming, is because of game mechanics. Mugging is a serious thing in the server and has many consequences. You and your friend, not only did not have any restraints, but did not figure out game mechanics before trying it. You talk about learning your lesson, but you didn't. If you had called a staff before leaving the server and asked the officers to actually interact with you, it would've been solved. You talk about how you've improved and not done it recently yes I agree, but that doesn't stop from the fact that you still did it.... After 30 minutes of NO INTERACTION, you can be set free (same goes for if YOU'RE unresponsive, the officers can auto-plea you guilty). This rule does not apply if you are awaiting a lawyer because you should not be released solely on the fact that a lawyer does not, can not, or will not represent you. It's not solely the fact that you left to avoid roleplay that wasn't there, its the fact that you left to avoid roleplay completely, the officers could not roleplay with you whatsoever because you left the server. You being in cuffs also does count as roleplay, if you agree or not, cops also have a job to do and it doesn't always mean baby sitting you in the cell while awaiting lawyers. Just because they aren't giving you the attention of a child in a daycare does not mean they aren't doing their job as officers.

What is your motivation/reason for applying?: I get on at really weird times when not many staff are motivated to do tickets OR when there are simply just no staff on to do them. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I've been playing the server for quite a while, and only ever stopped playing once between 21 and 23. I DO know the rules suprisingly. I've been here for quite a while but not many old players from 2021 play anymore, if they do then they're apart of a very small group that has stayed playing. How do you handle this?: Make a ticket or talk in admin chat like anyone else, I'm not above staff or rules whatever, I shouldn't be taking my own tickets or dealing with my own situations because of potential bias towards the player who RDM'd me. If no staff replies then thats that, other players have to deal with the same thing so I should also have to do that ya know. Its kinda like a DMV line, no one gets to cut it. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: Create an evidence list to prove my points then bring it up with someone higher ranked then me on what the next steps are and obviously hand over whatever i got and relevant information.
