allow factions to kill ppl for any reason they want
RevampedRebel replied to Davis's topic in Suggestions
Irl gangs and some mobs do initiation killings. Sometimes outsiders but much of the time it's washout insiders. Sometimes you don't need to fuck up terribly to wash out sometimes it's just the vibe you give or a lack of bravery or courage or just not producing enough results. You choose the criminal life, sometimes there's consequences to it. I do feel like there should be an articulable reason but realistically if you're not tryna be pked for some unsavory reason go be a cop and call it a day really. -
Thanks for this. For some reason, when I search my Steam name, I don't see any entries for me. I am not sure if it's got an old Steam name registered to my bans or something, maybe. Edit: I found it with my steam ID, thanks again.

I did mass RDM, although at the time, I didn't realize it was RDM because I thought I had a valid initiation due to the slurs and threats. I didn't realize that violence on the server required escalating sitdowns and such, as I was brand new to criminal RP and had only recently gotten a gun and joined a crew. I DC'ed from the sit because the admin I was talking to and explaining the situation to called me slurs and muted me, so I DC'ed as I felt like there was no point sitting there at that point since he didn't want to hear anything I had to say. I am not sure what you are referring to about posting it into the Discord. I think the only place I posted to clip to was my gangs/criminal orgs discord, and I believe I had posted it to their OOC channel to show them the situation. I am sure I can still find the shooting clip if you want to see it, although if I remember rightly, it doesn't show the initial confrontation due to it being a medal clip, and I had set it to only record about 2 minutes of gameplay at a time. I do understand what I did wrong and have read the rules since the incident, and won't repeat my actions again and if a situation like this happens to me in-game again, I would follow the escalation guidelines with sitdowns, extra confrontations, etc, before shooting. I haven't appealed my ban for 7 months because I understood that I needed a long ban for my actions but I hope to be able to rejoin the server after this long cool down period. Edit: adding this as I don't know if I explained this enough, I didn't randomly walk into Chinatown and just air out a clip. I had a prolonged altercation with the people before firing, where I was threatened and my friend and I were insulted with racial slurs. I understand now that you can't shoot over this, but from previous interactions I have had with other gangs on the server, I thought that this was enough escalation to shoot. I found the clip, and in the clip, it shows me open fire but only against the people I directly had an issue with, for example, I didn't shoot random bar bar goers or the black guy that was in there. At the end, another chinaman appeared that I didn't shoot (even though he was obviously with them) because I had no prior problem/reason to kill him. I only ended up killing him after he opened fire on me. I also didn't shoot anyone else outside the establishment randomly, for example. I know that according to the rules, they didn't give me enough provocation to shoot, but I did genuinely think at the time that I did have enough of a reason to shoot. I didn't shoot anyone who wasn't involved. I will add the clip here just in case you haven't seen it, as I feel like it makes my point quite well. Essentially, I did massrdm, but it wasn't intentional. Also, as a side note, I should have kept the part before the shooting in character; however, although I talk about a previous admin sit, my issue with them (and reason for shooting) was in character.

allow factions to kill ppl for any reason they want

this isnt a bad thing... PK appeals should be for major complications involved with the PK itself and its execution not just "they didnt have a valid reason" if you look back at PK appeals with this its always just "you took don orders" response and then denied after would prevent bloat simply Overall +1 this is the Mafia if a faction wishes to be kill hungry it can easily be their downfall and the loss of their best members not to mention the layers of internal politics and drama that can backfire on them -

If I recall correctly, Mass RDM'ed, disconnected in the sit, basically didn't care, then posted a video of the Mass RDM bragging about it in one of the discords, so the clear lack of remorse / intentional MRDM led to a perma. What's different?

I understand that you are apologizing but in your last appeal I specifically laid out why you need to serve a longer ban sentence and instructed you a timeframe of when to appeal here -> 2026

I’ve ordered a lot of pks, and Ive gotten a lot of orders to pk people. 99% of the time it’s because of bringing unwanted attention/heat and breaking the faction rules. If it’s a new player to the server, it’s either they don’t take anything seriously or they’re just getting used to how things work and too many mistakes will lead to their death. Which is retarded. Previously, if you put dons orders on someone and it was a mistake, then you as a faction leader will suffer- your people won’t trust your judgment as well, and you may have lost a valuable member. They shouldn’t just get to come or even worse- have a fresh start somewhere else on the same character loaded with money, drugs, custom clothing/cars that you otherwise wouldn’t have. Fuck em who gives a shit- if they were that important then they wouldn’t get pkd So the person stands there for 30 minutes, gets 10K, a custom car, (in some cases a weapon and customer clothing)… so he gets fired and does it to every other business… ends up with like 100K and 7 custom cars lmfao… yeah no. Kill the bastard. Nigga what? No one is running around being pk hungry wanting to kill their own new hires. The faction would never grow. -
im better

You were not perma banned for VDM... but if you care to speak to the real reason for the peram as highlighted here....
-
Not to mention they already have the whitelist vehicle(s) from said faction, why be able to walk away from a crime family with their signature vehicle? Simply unwhitelisting the retards doesn’t get rid of loose ends, if anything it makes them more untouchable. If we wanted to kill them before they touched drugs why would we voluntarily give them more “IC knowledge” of our family’s connection to the underground world?
-
yes but were not just gonna go around the city just cleaning up random messes if you go around right now there is blood, chalk lines in so many spots blood spills from SOOO LONG AGO yeah they have clean up crews for their own independent killings but just casually cleaning things they haven't caused? no Even still i dont know the legality of cleaning a scene thats old, could be illegal ICly and this change could add towards citizen role with a new job role to manage these cleanings potentially simple answer could be PD stepping it up cleaning up the scenes after theyre done with them or finding them naturally

wait, then what is the prompt for then? might as well pay for his college and into his 401k is this actually a bad thing? 95% of them are denied anyway instead of exerting a power that should be authorized as a faction leader (who doesnt want a person in their faction), instead allow for (insert shitbag here) to play an ooc system and have contractually no real way to get PK'd? at best its a guy doing bare minimum weekly, at worst you've found the perfect loophole for rats to try and make PD more powerful by having immunity they'll happily bring to staff every day of the week if their con isn't convincing
